  1. Could have been "shop s30.world" ? That's what I've seen for new tanks. https://shop.s30.world/
  2. Here is some threads that may be helpful for you to recondition the strap. https://www.google.com/search?q=240z+differential+belt+recoditioning+classiczcars.com&sca_esv=cc17e54ac3639420&rlz=1C1VDKB_enUS1121US1121&ei=17rqZ4miB5qLwbkPiPnusAk&ved=0ahUKEwjJ6dOL17SMAxWaRTABHYi8G5YQ4dUDCBA&uact=5&oq=240z+differential+belt+recoditioning+classiczcars.com&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiNTI0MHogZGlmZmVyZW50aWFsIGJlbHQgcmVjb2RpdGlvbmluZyBjbGFzc2ljemNhcnMuY29tMgcQIRigARgKMgcQIRigARgKMgcQIRigARgKSJY6UPEFWIg1cAF4AZABAJgBuQGgAZUSqgEEMC4xN7gBA8gBAPgBAZgCEqAC2hLCAgoQABiwAxjWBBhHwgIHECEYChirAsICBRAhGKsCmAMA4gMFEgExIECIBgGQBgiSBwQxLjE3oAeBdA&sclient=gws-wiz-serp
  3. The one above goes down inside the speedo cog housing, the O-ring goes on the outside where it slides up into the transmission from what I remember. espirist shows it here: I found a picture of the O-ring I'm thinking about. Uploading Attachment...
  4. Any young kids around? My next door's 5 year old put gravel in my Nissan D-21 p/u fill hole. Cost his Dad some money too. Maybe a Snickers bar in there?
  5. These cars didn't have coated tanks when new so they get "gas varnish" whatever that is. I coated both of mine with Red-Kote after a good cleaning but that's a lot of work. Until your ready for that just keep the fuel level at half a tank and enjoy the ride. Here's a couple of things you could read over... https://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/fuel/gastank/index.htm https://www.google.com/search?q=gas+varnish&rlz=1C1VDKB_enUS1121US1121&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 EDIT: Some gas stations have ground water leaking into their old tanks so sometimes they will get moisture causing rust but if you keep fuel in it the rust won't happen, it takes oxygen and moisture to rust.
  6. Maybe he'll get a notification or something. @GoldAir

  8. Here's a lead. Maybe you can work something out? Z Car Depot IncAir Intake Hose Elbow Throttle Body AFM MAF 280Z 280ZXAir Intake Hose Throttle Body AFM MAF 280Z 280ZX - 800-956 (). New replacement black silicone air intake hose.
  9. This older but might be helpful.
  10. I would just use heater hose from a chain parts store. Isn't that what you have on the others? That braided stuff is original to the car so the rubber you can't see is most likely getting brittle. Just a guess but "why you're there". 😁
  11. I would change that lower braided hose for something newer if it were mine.
  12. I bought Rhino ramps and use them with my cars and lawn mower for removing and sharpening the blades. They work great for me and cost a lot less. Also they stack together for easy storage.
  13. siteunseen commented on Mike's gallery image in Member Albums
  14. We, well not so much me as Zed Head and Captain Obvious who have to know why, keep you on your toes. I vote them President and Vice-President of our little club. Maybe they'll rub off on some others...
  15. It's a forum question, not for just anybody I assume, members only.
  16. "It's what I do!" 🤣
  17. I click on 6 minutes ago and it takes me to the last post like it used to do! Thank you Mike.
  18. Now I click on "2,833 replies" at the bottom right and that takes me to the last post of a nice car up for auction or sometimes a laughable piece of junk. It's an entertaining thread for me but if it is a problem for the forum get rid of it like the music thread and the boobies thread. People looking can go to bat.com and comment there.
  19. Here's a lot of good information on the steelies and the hub caps. EDIT: I added another good one. For some reason I thought they were the same thread....oh yeah, I just woke up.
  20. Mine says "www.classiczcars.com/discover/20/". I'm using windows 11 and google as my browser, ad block turned off for this page and I never get the "accept cookies" so I must have accepted them at some point. It does it every now and then. No biggie, thanks for all you do for us knuckleheads.
  21. Thanks for the offer! It would be something I could do myself and feel a little accomplishment even though you created the artwork that I just copied. LOL
  22. How many timing chains around the Z? That is a great piece of artwork you've made there. I want one!!!!
  23. $21K and I'll get a warm moist, without anyrust, damsel. 👰‍♀️
  24. I can re-click and get to the forum but only recently since we "got with the times"
  25. It's goes good with the spoked wheels. Needs some curb feelers, then it's Huggy Bear's.
