  1. I have had a couple of #305s, have one now, but none with white interior. The only one I've ever seen was at ZCON. An RHD Eiji had. If it were mine I'd go darker, #307.
  2. I'm stuck indoors until some rain comes through this evening and washes that stuff away for a day or two. Lesson I learned the other morning, do not take Benadryl in the a.m.
  3. never seen an open ended ratcheting wrench, seems impossible. Must be a typo, empty mini bar? just playing John! Whelp, my bad. https://www.lawsonproducts.com/lawson/Wrench-Open-End-Ratcheting-10mm/16414.lp?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&adpos=1o1&scid=scplp16414&sc_intid=16414&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9qDWpZKq4QIVxI2zCh3jbwksEAQYASABEgJccvD_BwE
  4. I think my $5 volume knob from Radio Shack wired into the coolant sensor wires would do the trick for a bigger cam. I can flood it out now with it turned all the way clockwise. I can't remember if it's a 1K pot or a 5K though.
  5. A dent? "Is she pretty?" "She's reeeaal nice"
  6. A guy told me last Saturday that I meant 240SX when he asked about my Z. That happens a lot to
  7. Looks pretty nice for a fair price.
  8. Google 280z junkyard spare. It's a Sentra or Altima that works. @Mike Wwith the 260 knows.
  9. He must be a little horse at the moment making that hotels.com money?
  10. We're having a "pollen blizzard" around here so I abhor nature at the moment. If only I had a Kirby salesman to vacuum this crap out of my life...
  11. Tom Monroe's "How to rebuild your L series motor". I'd never built a car motor, read that book about 4 times and now have a great running healthy 2.8 in my '77 280Z. Easy to understand and everything is explained in simple terms which was great for me. https://www.amazon.com/Rebuild-Your-Nissan-Datsun-Engine-ebook/dp/B006VUICHG
  12. More great images from Mr Hoover. One day I hope to be mr Kirby.
  13. I'm sorry to say, remember, my thermostat was donated to the cause. We were wondering what the innards looked like and i took one apart. The connecting pipe for the two intakes is still on mine. As I recall those SOBs wont come loose. I'm getting some folks moved in a rental and will be going to and fro my storage building so I'm still gonna be looking for your parts. Will update asap. Cliff
  14. The drapes don't match the carpet that's for sure on mine. Knob and wheel are completely different.
  15. What about the "potheads"? They weave really slowly. And motorcycle riders? Woof!
  16. I'll look and see what I have off my 2 sets. I don't need the heat down here so I deleted mine. Maybe a thermostat and that pipe around the back of the cylinder head plus the pipe in between the carbs (I think)?
  17. Also the float runs horizontal like the photo. Kinda tricky getting it in but not too bad. Good luck!
  18. Right side up is when the arm raises up. When it's all the way down you're on empty. If you still have the old one lay them side by side. You may need to bend the new one to match. I didn't and now a quarter tank on the gauge is empty inside the tank.
  19. Holy moly, that's as bad as I've seen. I will never complain again about our roads.
  20. Bleeder valves work good for me also. Definitely worth the money.
  21. Here's a shot of my E88 with the early spray bar attached and the newer design laying beside it. The newer one came off an N42 head that was changed to a newer oiler cam. This was a common upgrade from all I've read. Those spray bars a problematic and should be checked often, like every oil change for my 240. 240 spray bars... 280 with a oiler cam...
  22. Got it out in the sunshine for awhile. Wore the flat spots out of the tires.
  23. Those look to be rebuilt OEM cores. The only place I've recently seen with left and right was MSA. Someone went through this not too long ago is what I remember. https://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/classic21a09
  24. here's some good glue blob shots also. http://atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/afm/index.html
