Welcome in. What is the vin number? Many members add the year of the car to their signature line. It helps later when you post questions so people know which vehicle you have...

Brake drum plug - alternatives?
I suspect at 1200 FPs the pellets are going all the way through the squirrel and into the tree underneath...

I need some headlight help
That's great and I bet the resistance is lower now too

polyurethane car paint got sprayed a little bit on dashboard! How to remove??
If it's catalyzed paint it is probably not coming off with a solvent that's not going to hurt the dash skin. If it's not catalyzed you should get your money back...maroon or grey scuff pad or some fine sand paper maybe, since your dash isn't pristine but it will probably haze the areas you work on. Or you could just use some black vinyl paint and recolor the whole dash...

1973 Rebuild
I could probably get it done $6-7,000 cheaper here, maybe more, but our cost of living is much lower so body shop rates are correspondingly lower. Also our regulations are probably looser so the shops overhead is lower here too. If I knew someone in Arizona and I could ship it and save $10,000, I would! As for putting this kind of money into a 73, while the earlier cars are bringing more money it won't be long until this will make more sense. We have seen really nice cars done with strokers or well done engine builds and all the mods for several years now be priced at $40k and above. So if the car is neatly done and clean I don't think you would get hurt that bad if you had to sell it...

That's a lot of work and for where you live the numbers probably aren't out of line. I would recommend you don't have them cut and buff anything until after you have the car assembled. You are likely to damage a panel somewhere and they could touch it up before buffing it out...- Low VIN 1970 240Z "Barn Find" in Los Angeles Area
I don't doubt it. It was reasonably priced- 1973 Rebuild
What are they doing for $2,200 - $2,800?- 1971 240Z For Sale
I had to ask because prices are all over the place so I wanted a reference for where this car fit in. Nice looking car w/ AC... I don't think it's a forum rule...- 1971 240Z For Sale
- Woo-hoo! Vintage '72 tag
Found out we can run vintage plates on any car 30 years or older. Started shopping for plates last night...- quarter window seals
I suspected that but was unsure...- quarter window seals
What year did the used quarter windows come out of?- I need some headlight help
Yes, he did but fortunately we didn't have to use them because they're in limited supply!- Woo-hoo! Vintage '72 tag
Very cool! Texas does the same thing and I sourced and restored some 37' plates for his 37 ford. The hard part was sourcing 2 like Grannyknot. Texas requires a front & rear matching set. Finding the 1937 plates was a treasure hunt. Lots of fun I need to check and see if South Carolina does this...- RHD Fairlady S30 gas pedal

Shipping from the US is probably the bigger expense. What sources are cheapest for you for importing parts?- 510 Voltage regulator
I thought I would make a quick post. The 510 wasn't charging so I did a little research on Rockauto. The 240z uses the exact same part so I pirated one off one of the Z's and that fixed the charging issue. Plug N play- I need some headlight help
Well SteveJ came up today in the 260 and brought his little bag of magic tools. He was a big help. We narrowed down the headlight issue to a bad headlight relay. He had a replacement and all the vintage connections to make a plug n play fix. We still had an issue on the drivers side with glowing headlights we eliminated a backfeed issue and he narrowed the problem down to corrosion in the fuse box. So under his direction we pulled the fuse box and soaked the whole thing in a container of white vinegar for a couple of hours. After that a neutralization bath of water and baking soda. Blow it dry then use denatured alcohol to get all the water out. Blow it dry again. That brought the drivers side headlight leg up over 2 volts. Headlights are good now. We found 2 bad fuses in the fuse box, after that we had brakes lights and wipers. We got the horns working and I swapped a voltage regulator and got the alternator working. Then we had an erratic turn signal and I pulled the turn signal switch for cleaning... All in all a really productive day, I may have even forgotten something... Really big thanks to @SteveJ for coming up to help- Low VIN 1970 240Z "Barn Find" in Los Angeles Area
I saw that car last night. It looked like a great solid car. I probably wouldn't even paint it. Buff it and get the mechanicals and interior right and drive it...- I'm injured & bored
I agree! Not likeable...- I'm injured & bored
He does at first. It's just some of us require more volume...- I'm injured & bored
I feel your pain. Took this nail off between a 200# skidsteer wheel and the steel hub when I wasn't expecting that type of weight a month ago. Hit it at work 2 days ago between a clamp and the deck. That will make you say ugly things... - 1973 Rebuild
