My car has no adhesive whatsoever. The OEM hardware works just fine.

I just checked, so are mine. But the glasses are left and right since they have curvature. So they just printed all on the same side.

Seems unlikely since the glass is curved.

Window and door mechanisms are no fun. I had to gut the door to get a new latch mechanism installed. You might as well overhaul the door.

Buy new.

So someone created a space for this box, or am I missing something?

Okay I have a gripe, and very big gripe. Hagerty Drivers Club puts out a magazine. Well for years they've been Japanese autophobic except on very rare occasions. They have all the American and European car makers represented huge throughout their magazine, but Japanese automakers are conspicuously left out at least 99% of the time. I have written them several times with no success. I got a response about 20 years ago that they would attempt to do better. Fat chance! What can be done about it, because I know many Z owners send them business through their classic car and HPDE insurance..........me for one. But that may change. Thoughts? The latest edition has one Japanese car the KIA Niro EV...............stuck way in the back! 🤬

I think the old style sprayers like the Z are junk compared to current tech. They bend out of position easy and clogged.

I don't know the answer to this, but the 240Z quarter glass frame does not have threaded holes to attach the rubber strip.

This thread isn't about a switch restoration process. So let's assume it was in good working order after the restoration. The important question to answer is "Are we making progress resolving the problem?" eastcoastz?

The engine size is irrelevant with new technology and turbocharging. Future electrification also would be a factor. Nissan Z is the logical resolution for the badging convention.

You guys tell us about your adventures this time around. Unfortunately after 3 ZCONs in a row, I need a break for other things this year. Would have been cool to see the actual Z after last years "cardboard" reveal.
