I do not have a suitable lower valence corner. I thought I had two but the only one I could locate was pretty rusty along the edge

Good discussion and timely for me. I recently bought the xenon front air dam. Bought it direct from Xenon and I’m so disappointed I don’t have words . It’s not even usable. It so warped that it’s unusable. It has flaws all over it. I’d avoid this product like Covid-19.
I’ll post pics of this garbage later. My stock lower valance is banged up so I started looking for alternatives. I think I may have found it and might be something you like. I think it’s was used on the European 260’s. Take a look at these pics. Wish I had better one but this is probably what I’m getting.

They’re out there but you’ll have to dig a little.

I’ve got my xenon bolted on and it’s beginning to grow on me, even after I dropped my stock lower valance and one part I bought online to the paint shop. I’ll have two options now.

Love this EU front spoiler. They make a carbon fiber variant which would be a nice accent

I agree, I wonder if it fits on the stock 280z lower valance? It’s would be perfect for what I want. The BRE is just a little to big.

So EuroDat had mentioned that a 240z stock from valance was too short to fit and the the Radiator brace hung too low. These pic below are from Sean at Zstory. I have been chatting with him about mufflers and he sent me pics of his cars front. It’s a 280z he imported from the US and then put the 240z front on. I asked him about it and he said it fit fine. I wonder if he’s just covering the lower radiator brace with the lip he put under the valance. He sent me these pics. 3148f8479d118a0f7b3fc65eb5d923cd.jpg

Sean is using an extended 280Z grill and an aftermarket 240Z air-dam.

If you want to use the original 240Z valance it will not fit. The center section should go under the radiator body frame, but with the lower 280Z radiator body frame it is impossible. You can see on the last photo Sean's Air dam top section of the air gap is in line with the top section of that body frame. The extra lip on the air-dam drops down enough the cover the frame from visability. It is not an original 240Z valance.

That is why I used the 240Z air-dam and extended a 240Z grill by adding 2 extra horizontal bars. The air-dam I chose still needed some relief along the back edge to clear the 280Z radiator body frame.

Keeping the origjnal indicators or using the 240Z indicators under the bumper is personal preference.

I fitted a 240Z valance to mine, but the ceter section would not fit. See photo. The yellow line is where the center section bottom edge would hit the frame. Unfortunatly I don't have any photos of mine attempts to hold it in place.Screenshot_20211114-134920.jpg
