Does any have a source for the clear washer used to attach the lower door panel on the Series 1 cars? Thanks, Keith

Hi, Does anyone know how to take these series 1 seat hinge brackets apart? Are those bolts rivets of some kind? I’m hoping to take these apart so I can properly powder coat them. Thanks, Brian

Does anyone know where these go in a ‘72 Datsun 240Z? I’m doing the interior and took out the whole dash to replace with a repro. I just can’t remember what these brackets do. Should have labeled them. Thanks in advance. -Richard

I have a 1972 240Z with a new glovebox door but wish to transfer the label from the old door to the new one. Seems a tricky process so don't want to ruin the old label but wish to retain it as original on my new glovebox door. Figure there is a careful process to remove the label without damage and install with new adhesive without wrinkles/chemical damage. Assuming there is an expert out there with advise... thanks.

I feel like there should be cover for the blinker rod. Some type of rubber accordion like the clutch boot. I had a high beam switch that was all jacked up from UV exposure, picked up a spare column that came with semi new combination switches, id like to keep them in better condition.... Here is a picture of a replica 250 GTO that some dude was building.

I am looking for a pair of 4” speakers for the spot below the quarter panel windows on the 78 280z anyone have a suggestion for what they have or like for that spot. I am not sure how deep it is and also looks like I can’t have a tweeter that extends past flush or it would hit the panel cover

Anyone know of a vendor for the edge trim that lines the two tool boxes to prevent rattling. I could make some basic trim edge work I suppose. Mine has been missing since Z was purchased. Thanks.

Has anyone ever seen someone make a new glove box insert out of fiberglass? The OEM unit is simply "cardboard" that is stapled and glued together with a lot of right angles and "sharp" corners. I figure that if I make a plug of the inside of the box using expanding polyurethane foam in a polyethylene film bag I could then fabricate a decent and more robust box from that. In fact, if I wished to, I could then continue to shape the plug so I could make modifications that would allow for an even deeper and perhaps compartmentalized box that would still accommodate my Vintage Air A/C lines.

The dash in my 1980 280ZX is cracked in a number of places. Do any of the overlays fit properly? What options under 2K are available?

Good evening All, All these years of working to turn three dilapidated 240s into one good cruiser has come with a lot of expense I'm sure that everyone on this forum knows what I'm talking about. But this evening I'm delighted to share with you that I have taken the first step towards recovering my investment. I had in my garage two trash-grade seats. The idea was to take them apart so the seat cushions and backrests would fit into my garbage bin. On two of them, I made a profit. Jammed between the seat cushion and the metal arm linking it to the backrest, I found money! A 1974 nickel and a 1981 dime are now safely in my possession! Finally, a return on my invest…

I have an early 77, production date is 11/76. Mine has the weird slopped rear hatch area, which I don’t like. I’m assuming this changes corresponded with the fuel tank and spare tire changes they made in 77. Nissan abandoned this slopped deck in late 77 probably because they thought it sucked too. I’d like to change mine to the flat deck but wasn’t sure how difficult that is. Does someone have a pic of the deck area on a later 77 or 78? Also my car doesn’t have the compartment doors on the little storage areas behind the seats in the rear deck. Did they stop putting those in after 76 and if so will the early 280z doors fit . Mine has the mounting holes just …
