33% HP drop, are you sure? That seems a lot
  2. I wouldn't say all 80's bands were without talent, what about Nervana, they were 80's wern't they (well late 80's anyway). I think some of the new rock is good but there seems to be a lot of Pop Rock coming out that I don't think are worthy, (Disturbed, Lincon Park and the like, too much wiky wiky in them!)
  3. same thing here with the engine angle and gearbox leaver position. my gearbox hole had already been cut, the guy I bought my 240 from had three spare gearbox's and I guess on of them required the hole to be extended forwards. So you recon the z drive shaft will bolt on to the skyline rear box, will be trying that on the weekend
  4. bugger, your cousin might have made some money but then again would you really want to be recognised as a Wiggle?
  5. I used the 200ZR oil sump and pick up, used the 240z trans mount on the r33 rearbox in the original position and made some engine mounts, still need a new drive shaft, don't know if the original one will fit but it is probably better to get a new one that is designed for 250hp+ you can use the 200zr mounts as well and the drive shaft off a Skyline or something (not completely sure) then you don't need to make any components but apparently it puts the engine higher than it needs to. I have the part numbers if your interested
  6. I'm a little way through a RB25DET conversion, have you seen this web site before: http://www.members.optushome.com.au/charleswilliams/
  7. I've been told they tried their hand at heavy metal or something like that, failed and became the Wiggles
  8. I did read that correctly in that was a 350z with a Ferrari kit on didn't I?
  9. for the effort it would take I don't think a carbed turbo would be worth it, considering the easier alternatives.
  10. they had that at an auto show, wouldn't Ferrari get a bit upset at that?
  11. yes might as well, heat gun and a scraper works good
  12. loud 4 bangers are bad enough without that sort of carry on, don't think it will catch on here as the WOF people are getting more and more strict on the loudness of cars.
  13. well personally I like long nose's and short rear ends
  14. Handbrake in NZ as well, no complaints about it's position yet
  15. T03 @ 10psi standard, I would say 15psi on the stock T03 providing you are using an intercooler, although a T04 will make more hp at the same psi
  16. opps sorry, havn't look there for a while
  17. Arizona Z Car has some: http://www.arizonazcar.com/buckets.html
  18. sorry, "witch one the thin ones on all sick rides", what do you mean?

'81 (R30) Skyline 2800GT '81 810 '81 - '83 Maxima Diesel Land Rover Discovery (I think, it might just be a common conversion instead) failing that the part number is 12201-V0790 Do you have any old Nissan automotive dismantlers around you?
  20. RB30ET - 150kw @ 5600rpm & 296nm @ 3200rpm (SOHC from VL Commodore) The rb26dett can reach 600hp (flywheel) with out touching the internals, 400hp (ish) just from changing the exhaust and ecu. The RB20DET runs at 10psi standard where as the others run at 7psi standard there are parts avaliable from other cars that allow for a direct bolt up conversion for Z's (RB26DETT requires one modification)

you would have to reduce the compression, from memory they run at about 10.3:1 or so. havn't read anywhere about anyone doing this so no idea how stable it would be
