no I've never had the pleasure (?) of driving an S2000, but I have heard mixed opinions... most people speak of their lack of torque however... so yeah I'll just imagine

For instance, Vipers have huge amounts of HP cos they have heaps of torque but dont really rev much, but S2000s also have a lot of HP but they dont have much torque at all - they just rev like banshees...

Yeah, certainly! (unfortunately though..) Like, I would imagine a lot of people who drive R34 skylines dont realise a 240K is also a skyline - but it still is... Hopefully though most 350Z buyers will know about teh old 240z from teh brochures and articles written in magazines. I have yet to see an article which hasnt mentioned the 240Z in it hehe

Anyone seen this done before? I was wondering if there was anything prohibiting this to be done (e.g. because of hte longer body the chassis isnt rigid enough without the roof)? Any pictures? I jst think it'd be cool as a cruising car...

No one's mentioned the tail lights yet.. The 240 has its indicator as a part of the light cluster, whereas the 260 and 280 have it seperately. We dont get the 280Z here so it's a lot easier to tell them apart

I was wondering, what do you guys expect the prices of 240/260/280zs will be like in the future? Will the 350z have a big impact on the demand/prices? Will the 240z be worth much more than the 260/280 ?

Is there the same tutorial on the Internet somewhere? I'm interested too but I dont think ordering a reprint and getting it transported to Australia is going to be too cheap...

Just wondering - were they standard on '71 Z's as I think I have one (either that or 2 mufflers...) but I found that they were only standard on all cars from the mid-70s...

Well I'm a young one and I *always* wave or put my thumb up to a passing Z (never a ZX)... I've always received some acknowledgement... Flashing lights I wouldn't do, as (a) it's tricky to do when a car just flashes by and ( over here at least flashing lights means "watch out, I just passed a copper!"
