  1. I’ve searched the forum and Car Parts Manual looking for the lighting harness grommet that feeds through the engine bay into the wheel well for the head light & side marker lights. Can anyone help with identifying or sourcing these grommets for my build? Appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks in advance….
  2. @Captain Obvious Go With The Bling. It ill be alright!!!
  3. Max at Resurrection Classics spends a lot of time researching and finding manufacturers. I’ve been to his whse and walked me through the parts inventory and the stories along the way getting to this point.
  4. What’s the possibility of somebody out there having a tail shaft housing they no longer need for whatever reason. You never know….

The differential front mount where the forward support attaches to the frame. Check the u joints on the half shafts.
  8. They are very small plastic push pins similar to the interior but much smaller. Still available from Nissan. Expensive meaning they are $4.71 each but you have to buy a pack of 10. p/n 79909-E4100 Send me a PM if you can’t buy just 2
  9. I recently bought the bolts from my Nissan dealer if you have a guy there that will work with you.
  10. Replace that harness. I think you will find the reverse light sockets are corroded and have at least one bulb that is burnt out. The harness is the key IMHO. As far as tightening those clamps they only need to be snug. There isn’t any significant pressure except on the feed line.
  11. Guess you haven’t checked the front door yet!!😂😂😂
  12. Went to HF and bought a pair of Doyle 12” needle nose pliers. Worked great!
  13. You can get those nos blades from ZCD.
  14. Those contraptions are called non-foulers that were sold many years ago for worn out motors burning oil. Definitely not a permanent fix by any means. They came about over 50 years ago when I worked in my family’s auto part store.
  15. Checked with my Nissan guy on those same p/n’s. Nothing in the US
  16. I’ve seen this during my research awhile back. If I need to purchase one in the future Personally I’d give it a shot.
  17. Have you looked at the video?
  18. You won’t find new. These cars you have to be flexible?
  19. If Memory suits me no alterations were necessary. It would be so much easier to go watch his video.
  20. Go look at Dave’s Post. Eliminate that and go from there.
  21. You can smell gas regardless of where it’s coming from IMO.
  22. Go to @Dave WM post and see how he found one I believe off of an older pathfinder that worked. You may find that your issue is back at the tank. There’s a check valve in place back there as well.
  23. Gotta Love this Forum!!
  24. I would pull the head first have it evaluated at a machine shop and go from there.
  25. Time to pull that head off where you can see what is going on IMHO.
