  1. If you continue searching this forum you will see it has been covered before . You can search this forum using google also. It’s ok just be nice and you will get more help. You are new here and you have been getting into it with people but just chill out By the way, I got my gasket at Z Car Depot. https://zcardepot.com/products/power-brake-booster-gasket-240z-70-73?_pos=1&_sid=a87c129e3&_ss=r And it worked great on my new 8.5" booster for my 240Z with this adapter (the one I mentioned above). https://zcardepot.com/products/power-brake-booster
  2. Embarrassed? You can’t find parts at rock auto I gave you a link that lists tons of parts for a 280z from rock auto.
  3. Did you read what I initially wrote? wow lots of anger today.. you know how to use the internet it seems.. good luck to you
  4. did you search here https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/nissan,1978,280z
  5. Probably just rebuilt the calipers too many times. I shaved them down and now there is no rubbing
  6. Yes they are stamped s12w on them I purchased the following from rock auto. Are these the right rotors? 1989 Toyota 4Runner v6 calipers nugeon 9701550A (97-01550A) and 9701550B (97-01550B) and 1984 NISSAN 300ZX 3.0L V6 DYNAMIC FRICTION 60067074(600-67074)
  7. I already pulled one pin came out like butter! Thanks Jeff, tomorrow the other one will be coming out
  8. Anyone still making a tool? I contacted zcardepot and they are not sure when they will be in stock again. I also posted on hybridz but no replies yet.
  9. Thank you that worked I took a flap disk to it and now I got rim clearance. Now my other clearance issue is the rotor to caliper. It’s equally tight on both sides should I file the caliper down slightly to get a little wiggle room. It even rubs a tiny bit on the caliper.
  10. Anyone have to shave down the caliper fins? I have 15x7 konig rewind and the fin on those calipers are rubbing. I have 1989 Toyota 4Runner v6 calipers nugeon 9701550A (97-01550A) and 9701550B (97-01550B)
  11. Wow I thought I have seen it all
  12. How do you test for leaks before Freon?
  13. I always find the vin font funny it’s so non standard almost whimsical with curves.. sorry I like fonts
  14. I found a 1978 penny in my seat retractor handle cover it was jammed in there and looked almost new. It was an exciting time for me
  15. Yeah I agree except our gas has only gone up about 10 cents not double since the election
  16. Just saw this in phx think it’s the 400z it had a front cross bar in the grill area
  17. I am still using the “prototype” that I got and it’s working perfect!! I am not sure if he is making them or not I haven’t heard more.
  18. Maybe someone put your motor in the car backwards it happens all the time… 😆
  19. Mine gets noisy when it’s hot outside
  20. The bottom of the three bolts snapped off flush with my head as I was verifying torque. Is there much oil pressure in this area? I have a feeling there shouldn’t be too much oil flow there. My question is could I get away with a new gasket and maybe rtv ultra black and using the other two bolts until I want to drill it out. The bottom bolt in this pic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I got that out but it took all day and ended up drilling out the bolt with a 90 degree drill it was horrible work other people have wedged blocks in there and knocked the bolt out but I didn’t have that luck. It’s basically a wedge pin like on the spindle pins Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Whenever there is a does this look like this color thread it’s almost impossible to tell unless your there standing next to it, your camera takes at one color setting, your phone or laptop views it at another color setting, your brain interprets it at whatever it wants. I always say if it looks right to you it is what it is because that might not be the same color to me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Now that would be awesome Derek Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
