  1. Interesting to note the child in the car on the mom's lap.... not even a seat let alone a seat belt for the little guy!
  2. Buy with confidence! Awesome guy and good friend. I have benefitted from him many times with parts for my 370Z and 280Z!

As well, I would build a two story to save on floor space and have the rooms upstairs on a mezzanine so you can look out over the cars. Also a drivethru bay with car wash would be a good idea too.

    - No bathroom with shower off the garage area - no lift - no compressor/mechanical room - no POL storage or detailing bay...... It's nice but not well thought out
  5. Sad. I owned several cameras and a couple nice medium formats too. I worked as a professional photographer in the 80's before I got into the printing industry. I built a couple dark rooms but by the time they were finished, we moved! I still hold on to a lot of my old equipment. One of my treasures is a 1976 Canon Ftb-QL with 1.4 50mm from the 1976 Commonwealth Games in Montreal. It has the special edition lens cap. Haven't used it in 30 years though....
  6. I used internal frame coat from Eastwood.
  7. I would love to find a nice splash pan....
  8. My refurbished horns with new cadmium bolts.
  9. Yup. I saw it looking a little off and grabbed the fender. The fender is a little rough too so I wasn't sure until I put a level across both sides. Now I'm happy! The son in law came over last night and did some awesome welding along the floor frame rails. Nice closed seams now and the floor looks great, hardly any buckles. Didn't get pictures last night as we flipped the car back to upright to finish one of the suspension plate support welds. More pictures next week! I only work on the car Monday and Wednesdays at the moment.
  10. This enlarged area is where the change was made. Note the red line is now in line with the rocker profile. I will get a better picture tonight. The second picture shows the blue line where I cut across the bulldog and removed about 3/8' of metal and then rejoined the two together. This shot shows how far off I was...
  11. Wish this was in Canada.... such a nice project car!
  12. I threw out two or three that were for a 710 apparently....
  13. There's a few in Canada too... I have a friend with 2 or 3 of them plus a stack of E31 heads... he races a 240 and has a BRE motor on a stand too. Automotive gold!
  14. So I made a boo boo with the bulldog end I fabricated on the passenger side. It was a good shape and proper size, I just welded it on to the existing metal a little too low (towards the street) and the fender did not mount flush. I had to cut out about 3/8" of metal from the middle of the piece and reweld it together. It turned out great so I am happy but disappointed I didn't catch it before I welded it in before... You can see how the "bump" is higher than the rocker panel. They should be the same with an indent in the middle of the bulldog. The pictures in the previous posts show it rewelded in properly.
  15. This side looks good too!
  16. I'm looking forward to the primer stage. The metal looks ugly like this!
  17. Finished the frame rail seam weld tonight.
  18. No problems Sean! I will give you lots of advance notice when I'm ready to order!
