  1. Those 6-spoke are the ones I was hoping you were talking about! Shipping time is not a concern so the slowest method to save on cost is fine by me. These wheels only weigh 16lbs each so total weight with box and packing material should be well under 70lbs which is most carriers' limit. From past experience the box should end up being something like a 16x16x33 which will be considered an oversized item but still should fit within shipping size restrictions (I have had a set of wheels shipped to me before). Please let me know if you would consider this. My shipping zip is 78613.
  2. If you decide to ship them I may be intesrested in the 6-spoke. Could you post a pic of them please?
  3. More items added!!
  4. Yes Bill, everything that the above links returns is mine.
  5. I currently have a bunch of parts on eBay almost all of which start at $1 so please check out the auctions and bid high. http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQgotopageZ1QQsassZdjsting1QQsorecordsperpageZ50QQsosortorderZ1QQsosortpropertyZ1
  6. I agree with the others, this no certainly not a $3500 car.

All very interesting information. Thank you to all who have provided input. Now I suppose that the question would be 'what is the best tripple set up: Webber, Solex, or Mikuni?' This would be for a 3.1L stroker used for autox and weekend driving with a '77 5-speed and an R180 3.9 diff.

Are Solex and Mikuni the same thing?
  9. I've see these items on eBay in the past, they had a pink handle I believe. Is this what MSA sells?
  10. Are you on PayPal yet? I would like to get one of these as quickly as possible as I have just run into some electrical gremlins in my Z and want to eliminate as many problems as possible. EDIT: Sorry about this but I'll have to cancel this request. I just got a call from The Z Clinic (the shop that has my car) and they have already done the headlight relay work as part of their troubleshooting so I no longer have a need for this part. They reworked the tail lights, the dash wiring, and the headlights as mentioned so everything should be in good shape now!
  11. Thank you 26th-Z. Yes, we have discussed this to death in other threads and I appreciate your willingness to allow your pix to be archived to my site for future reference. If you have anything of particular interest please shoot me a note and I'll be sure to get it on my site. Also a note to all, you can bookmark my page if you like as I have a static IP address and the pages are hosted on the server in my home office so there should never be access issues unless it is due to temporary outates for upgrades or DSL being down.
  12. Please read through this thread, I have posted a link to the mirror of this information on my site.
  13. I think that what you are looking for is located on both sites in Cheat-Sheet/240Z-Cheat-Sheet.html
  14. He was kind enough to provide me with a copy of all this information months ago and I have it all available on my site (I'm pretty sure that this is the same guy). I have also added to it since I got all of the info from him. Please take a look here. If you have something you would like to contribute please shoot me an email.
  15. Buy it and take it to another state that is not as strict.
  16. Available for download here.
  17. Man why bother when you can use a tool like this! http://www.geocities.com/z_design_studio/
  18. Some of you mentioned about the price of the Barracuda from the Wall Street Journal article as I recall. Well here's a real life example of how high these get...and it's still climbing!! :surprised http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4505947525&category=6409
  19. I am in need of a series I tail light wire harness (the part the bulbs go in). It does HAVE to be from a series I as I just found out the connectors are different, the series I connectors are considerably larger than those on the 240Z made from '71-'73. I need one but would gladly buy the pair if necessary. I need this part ASAP! And am willing to pay for priority shipping. I failed inspection and found that someone has totally hacked, trashed, and ruined one of my tail light harnesses and this appears to be the cause of the problem.
  20. Sorry just pointing out what will be noticed by any Z fan at a show or when pix of the car are shown around.
  21. Except for the electric wires going to the ignition that wouldn't otherwise be there at all.
  22. Rear engine slinger??? I've never heard of such a thing...but hey, I know know every part on these by any means. Can you give me a description and maybe a pic of it?
  23. You just missed one on eBay that ended a couple days ago for $77...then again so did I. :tapemouth $%^#%^*&@& :tapemouth
  24. GREAT VIDEO!! Anyone happen to have downloaded the second video from the other thread mentioned above? That link appears to be dead and I'd like to see it too.
