  1. What's that about 1,000 Euro's for the whole exhaust?
  2. Hate that. Looks really soft, should probably check them all
  3. I understand being short on time but even so I generally have more time than money. Not true for everyone though...
  4. These are the only two used hoods I found on ebay One is $400 ($240+160) shipped one is $560 ($400 + 160) shipped. I would think $200-250 is a very fair price for a clean non rusty hood. I know where a half dozen salvage cars are near me but I doubt there are any serviceable hoods. They are just not that easy to find without rust along the front lip. I have an aftermarket one I bought years ago but it doesn't fit as well as the original... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-240Z-260Z-Hood-70-74-/152366280842?hash=item2379bcf08a:g:GcEAAOSwux5YXDjQ&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-240z-non-vented-hood-/252712750851?hash=item3ad6da8f03:g:UdoAAOSwUKxYb9nl&vxp=mtr There is just one in the sold listings $300 BIN w/ $40 for shipping which is impossibly cheap!
  5. JeffG told you how to bypass the metal fuel rail a long time back. He is a Ford engineer and races cars, maybe you should take his advice...
  6. If you are stubbornly going to try to keep the "vintage look" then get use to fluctuating idle rpm's
  7. Hadn't thought of mounting tape. But what if they're not at exactly the right angle?????
  8. looking good but you're gonna need some more holes in that hatch for the emblems...
  9. Shiro's are actually pretty rare cars. They are also unusual in they have the viscous limited slip rear differential. However if you buy a Shiro rear end be sure and get the half shafts as they are unique to this car...
  10. Do you buy good gasoline? Could there be water in the tank? Do you buy fuel at a busy gas station? The busier the station the more they change their inventory and the less water they will have in their fuel...
  11. Where in Simpsonville? If you need help or parts I'm in Spartanburg...
  12. It is probably not unless someone swapped it. If you jack the rear of the car up and turn one wheel, if the other rear wheel turns in the same direction = LSD if it turns in the opposite direction = open diff
  13. That's an interesting picture because the tracks go under the car not up to the back of the large tire. So I assume the large white wall was set there to stage the picture...It looks like "Eddie Munsters" first car
  14. My homemade rotisserie is about 15' long, with about 16" at the rear of the car and 12" at the front. I wouldn't think most wouldn't be a ton longer than this 16-17' max
  15. Congratulations! Stay in touch...
  16. Yes, probably. As I get older I don't heal as well or as fast so I have become more cautious with these sort of things
  17. Buy it from the vendor where you found that picture. He is an active member here...
  18. You are better off selling for cash then buying the right car for your motor. You might want to post some pictures of the actual car...
  19. I was cutting a panel 2 or 3 years ago while squatted down beside the car with a 4" grinder with a 1/16th disc. It kicked back and hit me at the end of the quad. Split it right open about 2" long. Still have a nice scar complete with black coloration...
  20. Zed I use Thunderbird for email and Firefox with an adblocker for browsing. Just recently had to add the ad blocker because the websites have gotten so ad heavy and video heavy it was really slowing my machine down
  21. How "undamaged"? I probably have one but many of them have marks from being used with floor jacks...
  22. Careful with those grinder blades! I found out the hard way they will cut the stuffing out of you....
  23. Glad you are still working at it. Keep us in the loop...
