  1. Don't forget the air filters that are included in Site's carbs. I can't seem to find similar cast filters. At a minimum I would think that adds $150-200 to the deal

Been there, done that. Although I ended up in cuffs...

  9. There is fuel in the rear float bowl? Verify visually. If there is fuel in the float bowl then there is a blockage somewhere. Bowl outlet, connector hose or the base of the jet tube...
  10. I agree, I tend to splurge on good materials because the labor is free and I don't have a lot of spare time. I am glad the fiberglass is working out...
  11. Would love to see pictures of why it was salvaged but otherwise not too scared. I have owned several Z's that should have been salvage title but weren't for whatever reason..
  12. Are you using hook & look or adhesive blocks? I have been using the 3M hook & loop purple rolls for abrasives. They are a little expensive but cut really nice and don't foul too much

  15. I believe you are asking about the factory parts for the front valence. There are three parts and getting harder to find...
  16. These cars can be a problem as a daily driver if you don't have an alternate for just that reason. Cutting corners on the links can burn your car down in the long run! The local parts store doesn't carry much for 40 year old Z's. If you need the parts fast pay for the faster shipping...
  17. Very good. that should work. By the way thanks for your service!!!!
  18. @P the Z Be very careful blasting the car yourself. It is very easy to ruin these cars if you aren't careful! The metal is exceedingly thin in some areas. You can also cause work hardening or oil canning if you over heat the metal. You need a large compressor to do this right and a lot of media! Also you should be wearing a respirator!!! The dust can cause silicosis much less the nasty stuff you are blasting off in the paint
  19. That's a pretty car for $14k
  20. I think $125 is a really fair price...
  21. Yes, Those numbers don't seem out of whack. It's a lot of work to do it right and then cut and buff...
  22. 20k! 5 days to go
