JUN 350Z crash at 250Km/H Video
one of his rear tires blew out. my dad used to be on the safety crew for that race & where it happened was right by the mile marker where he used to be posted. right around there is a slight dip in the road that causes crashes every year he saw a pantera disintegrate basically a few years back we figure the car hit the dip, the tire rubbed the fender, & wore a hole (which isn't hard at 190+ mph)

Only in Japan...
ya, it gets a little hot i'll admit but its not too bad. while running hipari most people up the tire pressure to around 40psi to avoid cupping, but most people that stretch tires do so for drifting so the tire isn't going to be around for very long.

Only in Japan...
as i recall they never mention the name of the black ship, they just refer to it as "the black ship" hotblack desiato & disaster area's stuntship. i cant freakin wait for the movie to come out. is that the one you were talking about?

Only in Japan...
for one. my 280 is flat black also. & 2 the style of stretching narrow tires over wide rims is called hipari. it eases the transition from grip to slip while drifting & makes for a little fender clearance in a pinch. also, if i get door dinged in the z i dont have to pay out the arse to get the area painted/color matched & dead roman was right, Nothing is meaner than a flat black z.

When drifting goes bad!
both of you cut it out. if you want to talk about politcs start a different thread, or go elsewhere to argue. on a bit of a lighter note... theres actually a car club somewhere in the middle east (i think it might actually be Iraq) named weapons of mass destruction. 800hp skylines/supras & the like. they have all kinds of videos on the internet

S30.. Drifting.. seriously....
that ZX video is f*n fantastic. i'm in the process of building (2) 280Zs (a 75 & a 78) for drifting duty, so dont feel unappreciated.
