Hauling a Z on a trailer
I will soon be making a trip to Oregon to pick up my Z for a 250 mile trailer adventure. Unfortunately there's snow in the forecast, so, it might not be as soon as I want. Anyway, I've already found a few threads on this subject, but, nothing explains the proper procedures to do this correctly. Do any of you have photos or advice for the trip? I'm planning to rent a U-Haul car-hauler. Here's one of the threads I found: I did see a few tips: Nose first Use the provided tire-straps in the front Cross brace the rear end with ratchet tie-downs I'm a bit concerned there will be some gravel on the road so I'm not too excited about winter towing. But, if I may not have a choice at this time of year. Does anyone know if it's a good idea to put a car cover on before making the trip? I would think the wind would cause some paint scratches. I'm not too excited about rain, if I run into it along the way. Appreciate any advice you guys might be able to help me with. Thanks! Mike

1970 240Z HLS30- 06026 For Sale (original)
Hi guys, just catching up. Overall, I would like to think that our website served an overall larger purpose. We did the right thing by informing a fellow human being the correct value of a classic car sitting in his garage. It shouldn't matter if he is a newbie, or a long upstanding member, because I think our opinions bring value to the overall hobby. I am proud that we come across as a helpful friendly bunch and can be considered a trusted source for Z community.

Why use a Z car as a sign of danger in an add?
Does the 240z have a "bad guy" image? Or maybe the ad writer is a fellow Z member...

240z steering wheel
Don't want to hijack this thread so I'll keep it short. Does anyone know how to get ahold of Justin Yee? His domain expired and I'd hate to see all of that info go to waste. I can offer to migrate his blog to our blog area for no charge. Anyway, if you know him, please send him a note for me and I'll get it rolling.

Kicked the tires and went on a drive
It's been 6 months sitting in a storage unit. After some great thanksgiving family time, I pulled the Z out and dusted her off. A few pounds of air in the tires and a tank of super, I was off with my son. Best part of the ride is when my son looks at me and says "don't ever sell this car". Moved this back to the Internet finds forum.. sorry I moved it to the regular classifieds for some reason. I may have needed my coffee too..- Ebay items out of Graham WA.
Probably one of these: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=datsun+radio&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=datsun+radio&_sacat=0- Ohhh snaps! (for my new carpet/parking brake boot)
Not sure if you have a boat store near you, but, it's another option. They will have stainless steel snaps and should not rust. http://www.westmarine.com/buy/west-marine--95-piece-premium-snap-kit-with-locking-pliers--15536691?recordNum=5
