  1. looks like interior door panel was shortened to hind tears. And ya the half cap is a dead givaway nice car though for maybe 2,700.

  3. yup my old 260 never ran right, blew a head gasket, rebuilt the engine but never ran good bent a valve. But I missed it hence 78 280z.

  6. usual locations doglegs under the hatch and the inside of the hatch, I just got a repacement hatch for 40 bucks today including glass emblems and the hatch struts.
  7. already replaced all of the u-joints over a year ago, I just wanted to know if the picture posted showed any glaring signs of a mount failure.
  8. ??? is the pic I provided the dif mount? sort of confused with my set up compared to other poasted pics I have seen here. I have a 78 280z.

  10. After buying this car about 2 and a half years ago for 300 buckaziods and puting in about 500 including towing, here is my car, tons of work to do including rust removal and turning it back to it's original yellow, but it runs great (with rear end clunk)!
  11. I know there are many a post regarding this topic but I am still a bit confused. My car sufers from it and I would like to know a bit more before I star buying parts and dismanteling the car. here is a picture of where I think the problem is but I am not sure.....

  16. first step get a fuel pressure gauge, hook it up after the fuel filter, then post findings.
  17. show pics please, perhaps a little welding and grinding can fix it. if so send it my way and I may be able to help.
  18. check the FSM yet? I believe there is a wire from the air regulator that controls the fuel pump relay, test fuseible links?
  19. check the fuel pressure, that is you're first step.

  22. will a 240z hatch fit a 78 280z? I need to replace my rusted out one and have a potential replacement with vertical defrost wires.

  24. chester & herod are great, I talked to them not long ago, it seems the best deal is to go with them: loop custum cut, molded cut pile cost more from them but there loop sounded like the best route and what they recomended.
