I found this at a yard sale last weekend, $5 and it is flawless. My birth year but if someone in Alabama has a '69 automobile I'd consider letting it go for a "year of manufacture" which is legal in many states. I have a '72 plate on my 240. I took the tag frame off I remembered, looks better to me.

Had new injectors installed in the 1990 300 ZX. Also, proud to say my grandson Greyson is sticking it to the competition. Here he is over the years 😀 Proud grandpa!

But first recheck the compression with the throttle wide open.

That is a score Cliff, five bucks for a useable plate for YOM registration. Did I ever mention that I collect license plates? I have a partly complete birth year run, 1956, also have municipal plates (this includes police car tags), personalized, state graphics, and plates from other countries. Oh, and any plate from 1969.

That should work just fine. Good luck and I said earlier, build some oil pressure with the starter, plugs out, first.

Just bought this one. Hope it does the job following your instructions.

You can hold the throttle rod, carbs, wide open by tying or wiring the loop to the fuel rail. That way you stand outside the driver's door and reach through the window to turn the key. Make sure and pull the coil wire off at the coil. It's kind of hard to mange all at the same time by yourself but it is possible to turn the key with your right arm and hold the gauge with your left arm to see the reading of the needle on the gauge. A helper is best but like me, hard to find when you are ready to do the test. Good luck. Hope for higher numbers.

Funny, I almost added a comment about the racer types who believe mastering the engine via throttle and clutch control is all that's necessary. Behave beast! The dash pot is a luxury and it does allow easier shifting. Call me lazy. I can take it.
