  1. Try loosening the hinges, push the hood down, and re-tighten. It worked for me. Good luck. Cheers, Mike

I run the Rota RB's Gunmetal w/polished lip 15X7 +4 offset. I used the Gorilla small diameter black chrome lugs. Can't speak to the 215/60 R15 tires, I run 205/60 R15 tires which are almost identical tire height as stock so my speedo is pretty accurate and no tire scrub at all.
  3. Max VA = power = Voltage * Current = 2.5V * 6000A = 15,000VA Max kVA= VA/1000 = 15kVA

Hope you all had a great holiday! I didn't have a chance to log in much this year due to family and travels..
  6. You couldn't go wrong with that one, it has been taken care of by Banzai Motorworks so that will cost a bit more but will still probably sell in the $14,000-17,000 range.
  7. I’ve used copper end caps with a piece of copper pipe soldered in and a jubilee clip to great effect. The PO had used the bolt method which had corroded a lot reacting with the coolant. The copper method works a treat and totally heat proof! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F121665667956

Finally! My Christmas themed car is looking good this time of year!
  9. Because we buy most of our parts from the states. Our dollar is worth 30% less than yours so if we both make $50,000 a year, you actually have 30% greater buying power. Top that with ridiculous shipping fees, taxes, and brokerage and we end up about 40% more cost in restoring a car. That’s life.
  10. Typical mainland Chinese... looks like a cap, feels like a cap but it ain't. It's a polished turd that fakes a real cap. Mainland China specializes in this and they are very good at it. Now that their economy is cooling, they are using even more watering-down methods. Now I avoid everything I can from China or labelled "imported for". For your problem, use non-chinese hose ~ 4" and 2 hose clamps. Stick a stainless bolt in the end and clamp it.
