I'm checking FB's marketplace everyday. I want a Yamaha RD400.

My Dad had one when I was a kid and let me ride it. He had to hold it up to leave out and on return I blew the horn and rode around the yard until he came out to hold it up while I was climbing off. 2 stroke street bike. Kenny Roberts raced them for years, they have a replica of it.

Nice! My dad had one of those when I was in high school. Got to ride it some, what a blast, that thing was a freaking rocket. Begged him to sell it to me when he decided to get rid of it. He wouldn't hear of it. He probably saved my life!

Well, I have been looking for a new project and everything is beyond my price, so I picked up this to work on for the winter. Not a S30, but it is a 70’s Japanese Machine  with a Z in the model name.

Is that the 900cc three cylinder two stroke bike?
