Thanks for the compliments, I didn't realize my imaginary internet persona creation was so strong.  No though, unfortunately, I mis-wrote, and I was just referring to the thread.  Not ready to destroy my illusion yet by becoming real!  I'm in Oregon, thinking about replacing my rear main seal.  My leak-free engine is slightly leaky.

 

Looks like a big show this year, I don't remember seeing so much about it in the past.  Don't over-do.

That's a little far from Memphis.   I bet we can find some ice cream closer to hotel than that.

A bunch of us ClassicZ folks got together tonight for some food. I have some pics from the event, but can't upload from here. Tomorrow morning, SteveJ has promised me grits!! Can't wait!!

I wasn't planning on taking photos yesterday since I wasn't going out to the autocross. However, some rain storms moved through, and I thought it might make for some interesting photos to get the cars shortly after it rained. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Today's car show was on Beale Street. I got to hang out with Philip, Bruce, Charles and Jim². It was still pretty hot in Memphis, but it was a pretty neat setting for a car show.

Speaking of Nashville. If anyone ever gets to Nashville, take in the Lane Auto Museum.

They have a cut away 280Z engine on display. Very neat. I don't know if they own it or

it is on loan. Some of the cars there are on loan from their owners.

Dinner at "Buckley's". It was very good and not unreasonable.

 

 

 

Seems like a nice family owned restaurant. If you're close and looking for food...
