What are the hardest to find / most expensive S30 small replacement parts? Just from browsing the forum I see that the chrome tail light bezels are hard to come by. Anyone care to list some other small parts? Thanks

This arrived last week from Long Island, NY. Bought it off of ebay. 1996 Mini re-titled as a 1976. Japanese market model with factory A/C. 45,000km. Walnut dash and walnut on tops of doors and quarter window. Brown leather with green piping that matches the paint. Xenon headlamps. RHD. Definitely a head turner.

I have been trying to figure out the name of the Datsun dealer where my car was originally purchased. I know it was in California, and I have the attached warranty card that was filled out by the original owner, but the handwriting is not great, and I don't have enough familiarity with the names of the dealers around this time to trigger any thoughts. Does anyone have a list of the Datsun dealers that were operating in California in the early 1970s? I believe that this car was purchased in either the Bay Area or somewhere in Northern California. It is a late 1971 240z. If you could also help me with the address of the dealer, that would be great too. Thanks for a…

Here is a badge that I recently got. I have never seen one like it. I know they made them for the 510 but not the 240Z. Here is it mounted on my grill.

hi guys, sold my 73 basket case last year, just purchased what i would consider a complete rarity up in my part of the woods. solid early s30 in excellent condition very little rust. anyways, i'm going to post some pics some time soon, but the first thing i noticed on my newly purchased 72, is it has an L26 block with E88 head. took a look at the previous threads, but would anyone be able to shorten my search with info on this config? i would think this basically says my 240, has a 260 block correct? also, what's up with the e88 story. was it offered on the l26? motor has dome top su's and runs not bad, but havent dug too deep yet as ive only owned for couple days.…

I'm in the process of re-finishing my engine components and cleaning up some over-spray in the bay itself. I would really like to see some what some of you guys have done with yours. I'm considering getting the valve cover and all front timing cover pieces, intake manifold and maybe the oil pan and exhaust header powder coated in a polished metal look. I've repainted the block to close to factory blue, but I'm not sure how good it would look with everything else assembled. Some of the sharpest looking bays I've stumbled across are silver or black blocks with body colored valve covers. I'll be posting pics as mine comes together.

Put the car on the rotisserie yesterday by myself. Fabricated it about 3 years ago. Rolls easily with one hand. Haven't tried to rotate it yet. Going to make some braces before the rear quarter panel replacement.Already replaced the frame rails, both floor pans, floor supports, inner fenders and battery tray area all with my own fabricated versions.Total spent on materials $400.So,to all you guys wanting to know if it can be done cheap? The answer is "yes" if you have the time and skills..Both of which you can't buy.Timeline is one year from this point and have it on the road.....Wish me luck.Roger

Hello, I am new to the forum and new to the Z community. I recently purchased a 1971 240z with an L24 and 4 speed manual, however the car is in poor condition as it has been sitting for years in a tarped off tent and never properly maintained and neglected. The moisture and heat of being in a closed off tent has wrecked thin metal and there is some holes in the floor from what I could see but the frame rails etc are still intact just need a good media blast/sandblast. So I am getting the car for a bargain and I am going to take it on as a project/restoration of sorts. Being as young as I am it may not be as nice as some of the members cars or as period correct but I am …

Just saw this today - http://www.datsunstore.com/ Apparently they're moving and have to get rid of some stuff. Says 30 cars must be sold. I thought they just sold parts. Worth a browse.

So I recently bought this Z (October of last year). Paid 925 bucks for the car, two giant tupperware containers full of parts (mostly ventilation hoses and some cam gears) and a 280 parts car of which the year is unknown. The previous owner claimed that the motor had been rebuilt 8000 miles ago and it ran quite well. It did in fact, run quite well. It came equipped with a set of homemade 6 into 1 headers, Bob Sharp Racing intake manifold along with the complimentary 390 cfm carb, misc ignition goodies, a close ratio gearbox out of younger 280zx and a pair of faux nismo bucket seats. I thought I was set. Of course upon closer inspection I began to realize that the car was…
