26th-Z Posted February 10, 2015 Share #1 Posted February 10, 2015 PS30-00092 is slated to be auctioned at the RM auction, Amelia Island in March. No reserve. http://www.rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1072399 For years we have discussed what one of these would sell for in the States. Well, now we find out! Oh the sheer excitement! Mike B Posted February 11, 2015 Share #3 Posted February 11, 2015 That same guy sold the Skyline GT-R at Monterrey last year. He has sold at least one other Z432 and a 240ZG here in the US through his company http://welovecoolcars.com/. He has another 240ZG that he shipped to AZ to drive around and show off at the January auctions this year and plans to sell soon. He also has another GT-R and a GT-X for sale now ($235k for the GT-R) http://welovecoolcars.com/1971-nissan-skyline-2000gtr/
TomoHawk Posted February 11, 2015 Share #4 Posted February 11, 2015 I wonder what the spanners are in the tool kit. I think 10/11 and 14/15 maybe?

TomoHawk Posted February 12, 2015 Share #6 Posted February 12, 2015 What are "overheard camshafts?" they are so loud you can "over hear" them?
kats Posted February 13, 2015 Share #7 Posted February 13, 2015 Hi, This car was owned by our former club member in Japan, we know the car well. Very nice and original car, it was displayed at Nissan showroom a few times. And here are some very rough Z432 on sale in Japan, both are asking 150000 USD even they have not been running more than decades. Crazy. PS. The white one is PS30-00023, 1969 car. The green one is PS30-00248, 1970 car and this is better than white one. Kats
kats Posted February 13, 2015 Share #8 Posted February 13, 2015 I wonder what the spanners are in the tool kit. I think 10/11 and 14/15 maybe?I will post tools when I am home. TomoHawk Posted February 13, 2015 Share #9 Posted February 13, 2015 My tool roll has spanners to change the alternator belt (14 or 15mm) and the battery cable clamps (12/13.) I think I have the 10/11 spanners too.
bartsscooterservice Posted February 13, 2015 Share #10 Posted February 13, 2015 Kats, $ 150.000 and then stil need to restore them.. that crazy money. Then the one in the auction must bring at least above $ 250.000 With that high prices for a 432 you wonder why the prices of the regular most kept original 240Z's haven't gone up much yet..
TomoHawk Posted February 13, 2015 Share #11 Posted February 13, 2015 It's because the 240Z is just a cheap sports car and rust bucket from "Datsun," but I won't say that...
26th-Z Posted February 13, 2015 Author Share #12 Posted February 13, 2015 Thanks for the pictures, Kats! I added them to my picture collection of PS30s. I think the prices for early HLS30s HAS gone up - significantly. From what I see, the price of my purchase in 2004 has doubled. And the car sits in storage, pretty much just as I purchased it.
