  1. I hope that is all it is, but most folks would announce something on the telephone answering machine and/or with an auto-response to incoming emails.
  2. You can "attach" a picture file to your post like ChrisA mentioned. or To actually post picture files to your (or any) Gallery, you click on the "Gallery" tab at the top of the Home page, which will take you to a nother page. From there you click "upload photos" which is just below the TABS on the upper right. That gets you to the page where you can actually do the upload.
  3. Moosehead is a Canadian beer, Moorehed is lifelong goal!
  4. ..............and settin down the rules & demanding respect needs to be done early in child rearing. It isn't something that you can start when they reach 8, 10 or 12 when they can really start to get in trouble. By then it is too late and parents would be in for a helluva time. I've seen it many times, "My children are such angels, sure they sass me, and don't always do what I ask them, but they don't get into real trouble." Then they reach about 10 or 12 and they become real uncontrollable monsters.
  5. Hi Rick I can't take credit for the pic, someone else from the club posted it a couple years ago in a similar thread, and I liked it, so I saved it to home. Carl
  6. On the other hand, you don't want the neighbors to think that it's OK to bounce their bicycles off of your car every week either.
  7. Here in the US, the early 260Z (up to 7/74) did indeed have the same (basically) body as the 73 240Z and were equipped w/ carbed L26. There may be minor differences, but it is essentially the 240Z body. Later 260Z's had the 280Z body also w/ carbed L26.
  8. That is what I was meaning.
  9. Damn, sorry to see that dent Marc. Check the bike to see if there is any silver paint or rub marks that obviously match the marks on your car.
  10. I don't know if they salt the roads in your area of Canada, but if they do, you might want to think twice about getting a Z, unless you only plan to drive it in the summer on dry, unsalted roadways. I would not be driving a Z on snowy, wet, salted roads. Ever. That is the kiss of death for an early Datsun (far more so than modern cars). You will end up watching it dissolve right before your eyes.
  11. Hi Will: Well. I am sure that your wife is a kind and noble person, and won't punish you for spending so much time in the shop with your Z(s). Now if you can just get those "stones" cleared up, maybe you'll be "in the mood". BTW, you mentioned earlier that getting the lithotripsy procedure approved was a hassle. Are you dealing with an HMO? Just curious.
  12. Didn't they disassemble it and relocate it to Arizona? YES THEY DID!
  13. It has just come to my attention that our member "280z" (otherwise known as Marc) won the "BEST 280Z" classification with his Super Clean Silver 280Z at the 2004 ZONC Blackhawk Event. Congratulations Marc! **I didn't get a good pic of it at the show, but the attached is from our Mt. Hamilton Run last month.
  14. Marc, I saw that car also. Didn't think to take a picture either. Looked like the one on the RH side was just a regular LH mirror with the "mirror" part rotated 180 degrees to orient for the RH usage. It looked cool.
  15. Well, actually, it depends on which end of the bike you're on. Could be wonderful, or could be "baaaaaa-d"
  16. I *think* you are going to need the Halfshafts, and the mustache bar. Maybe the best thing is to take the entire power/drive line all the way back and mount to your stub axles.
  17. FIRST CHOICE Nissan OEM Ball Joints - www.midwestz.com SECOND CHOICE Moog Ball Joints - anyplace that sells Moog parts.
  18. Nice work, but anyone considering this should be advised that in many states of the USA, it is illegal to have a video screen that is visable (even just barely, & from the side) by the driver. You don't have to get caught driving with it on to get busted, if a cop sees it and believes it "could" be seen by the driver , he can issue a citation. FWIW,
  19. I think that stuff like this happens to all of us. Every time I fill up at a busy gas station, at least one person wil wander over and mention that they had a 240Z a long time ago, and how it was such a fun car to drive.

  21. Try THIS Link. I think it will help you.
  22. Probably could do that, but if the engine gets lifted off the mounts by 1-1/2" or so, that by itself should give enough room to install the new pan, but dropping the X-member would give extra room to do it.
