  1. I'm glad the damage wasn't worse! Good luck finding a repair/replacement. Do you think a bumper rechromer could fix it? just a thought.
  2. Here ya go Will. Just for you. 6th post down. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13791&highlight=sheep
  3. Hi Tom: Yeah, it has been a while. Hope all is well. Maybe this is a glitch with the new software and Mike can look into it. There have been a few others who have had issues with access to the site. Good to see you back with us! carl
  4. Your door locks are working the way they were designed to work, Vicky. Quite a few (though not all) old car locks are like this. My Dad, who worked in car dealerships as a Parts Deptment manager from the late 40's thru the mid-80's always told me that some manufacturers designed the locks to operate this way so that people couldn't leave the keys in the ignition and lock themselves out of the car. FWIW,
  5. Hi, Why can't you use the original screen name account?
  6. A tourist arrived in New Zealand, hired a car and set off to view the countryside. On his way he saw a bloke having sex with a sheep. Deeply horrified, he pulled up at the nearest pub and ordered a straight Scotch. Just as he was about to throw it back, he saw a bloke with one leg masturbating furiously at the bar. "What the hell!" the tourist cried, "what the hell's going on here? I've been here one hour and I've seen a bloke shagging a sheep, and now some bloke's wanking himself off in the bar!" "Fair dinkum, mate," the bartender told him, "you can't expect a man with only one leg to catch a sheep"
  7. well, as long as YOU are amused. That's what is important. :stupid:
  8. Well don't expect a bunch of people who are into CLASSIC Z's to care about your new fangled Toadmobile. If you like it, fine. I don't have to. PS I'm not grouchy. I just fail to see why anyone would "expect" CLASSIC Z people to care about a car that isn't. Thats what the 350Z forums are for. As for hostility, you are the one who has injected hostility with your "diaper" comments.
  9. Well ya don't go to a Ford forum to brag about your new Chebby. No one wishes him ill, but as people into CLASSIC Z's many of us don't really care about the 350Z. I notice tht you didn't give him a "warm welcome" either. Did you post just to revive the S30 vs Z33 war?
  10. Think QUALITY of service, more than price. Lots of *things* can happen to a car in transit. What kind of things? *THINGS* you don't want to think about happening to a car you just bought. JMO,
  11. .......ya may want to rephrase that one Ben.
  12. (Looks good Ben)
  13. Yeah, Thanks for taking the time. Fingers crossed!
  14. well said! :stupid:
  15. I also suspect one of the "hangers" for the E-brake cabling is disconnected, or stretched and allows the cable to contact the axle (half) shaft. Had that happen once on a Z that I owned previously.
  16. Hey, You been watching me?
  17. Sorry Mike/everyone, I didn'realize it was case sensitive. Oops, My bad. :lick:
  18. Looks like an aftermarket wheel to me. Probably, like most aftermarket wheels, they were manufactured in several different widths, and offsets. If specific size data isn't cast or stamped into the wheel somewhere (usually on back side) your best bet is to pull the tire off and measure it up. ** due to extreme large size of pic, I won't be following this thread. It takes over 5 minutes to load on a dial-up.
  19. Yeah, I saved that picture to remind people of what can happen to a Z car if not cared for. (Psst, I think its dead already, so it can't hear us laugh/cry over it)
  20. I need to change mine also. (It was funny for a while, but.........)
  21. The "smoke" in components is called "PFM" otherwise known as "Pure Freak'in Magic". It's what makes them work, or not. Depending on whether you want/need it. It's an inverse relationship.
  22. It is the same for everyone. Mike needs to "install" the option, or create the buttons, or whatever to do this. The issue has been mentioned to him in other posts, so hopefully he'll get it taken care of as soon as he has time to do so.
  23. Ask Mike. adding charectors to reach minimum
  24. ...........or maybe plant strawberries!
