  1. There is very good reason why you blokes can all fit in the Z! It was specifically designed that way. I quote Kats, a member on this board who is currently away: Quote sourced from: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11683&page=1&pp=15
  2. Yes, they own the trademark "Z" for a sports car.. you can't have rights to a LETTER though, so naturally Z/28 and Z3 are fine. But if they referred to it as "The Z", that would be illegal.. That's my take anyway. Nissan would have paid BIG money for www.z.com... All single-letter domains are owned by the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) for "stability" purposes. Four of them are not, however. Z, Q, X and something else. Why? Because they were registered before the IANA got to them.

  4. Awesome, a real buyer - where are you located joonix?
  5. Shipping from Holland may be a killer... but if they are indeed GT tail lights there might be a bit of interest for them Tom - I think all the rear "beaver" panels should be the same matte grey colour. I think just what has happened is a similar thing to the Z's, people paint them to suit their tastes...
  6. , it is tempting. Imagine two C110's, one GT-R spec and one stock. Mmmm... nooo! The auto shifter looks like it's in similar condition to mine - poor :/ I thought anyway. I still haven't seen a picture of what it's MEANT to look like.....
  7. How about that style of side-sticker Gav? Very nice car indeed, pity about the rear window sticker huh.
  8. ............. gah

  10. That's interesting, California really seems to do EVERYTHING differently. Do you Californians get higher-octane fuel? Or is the "recipe" about something else (like purposefully increasing prices so more people buy Hoovers as transport)?

  12. Oh I think I saw one of those - I downloaded a video of an FC RX-7 convertible with a huge wheel thing on the back, being blown to bits with a high-powered machine gun. Hm, I think I would have rather not known

Ahh! Thanks Gareth, you'd think he'd put up an engine shot since that's really the main appeal for the car. But damn, what a sleeper. Vinyl roof, mud flaps and louvres This was advertised on Ozdat too - I emailed him for pics but haven't got a response back yet. This is just as good
  14. I dont know what 'Monster Garage' is, but from the name I already want to cry. What a lovely little car, in such perfect condition.

They're not sold here, so you have to import them... not worth it except for the "wow" factor.
  16. Thankyou Carl! Yes, we are suffering from all of those factors too. I was thinking, how about those recent hurricanes? Linky. It happened a while ago now, I wonder if they have recovered by now... Also, the exchange rate must have a pretty big impact - probably moreso for other countries than the US.. depends, how much of your own oil do you produce? Something for interest - Australia produces around 70% of it's oil consumption.

  18. Do you know what these matters actually are though? I thought the price of oil was international so there must be something else..? Please excuse my ignorance (question open to anyone!)
  19. "Surely the remaining examples of the world's best-selling sports car deserve better than this." Sums it up.
  20. Sorry - whine, not whinge. Got to get the terminology right!!!!! P.S. did you mean "aren't", not "are aren't"?
  21. I was simply giving a comparison for some who might be interested to see what the rest of the world is doing (not just THE country, seeing as this is in "Open Discussions", not "Regional Discussions"!).. but I am interested in what you say there - why are petrol prices rising in the USA moreso than other western countries (if this is what you are insinuating)?
  22. where's the no whinging policy!! You guys have it good. Here you'd pay about double that, and in the UK you would pay over that for a LITRE.
  23. I thought you had made a final decision already..!
