Looks like it's going to go for less than it's worth in my mind. A car in such great condition doesn't come up every day - let alone for such a price! I hope it goes to a good home too Post pics of your Cortina if you get it! -
Hi guys, I have a copy of this magazine myself - it's great!! This article is about the all new Datsun 240Z Sports. The test car is actually a Fairlady Z with a rear spoiler and dual exhaust to boot. The site is a bit overwhelming isn't it? Don't worry, after you settle in you'll come to realise most of the links you won't need! What you do need is the "Search" one - top right menu. Here's where you'll find most of your meaty stuff. Also click "Forums" on the top left, and you can browse the forums by section. Those are the two main links you need for searching old topics. If youcan't find something, just make a topic and someone should be able to point you in the right direction, or in the rare case that it hasn't been asked before, I guarantee you someone will know!!!

Great wheels - did they come with the car? Oddly, it seems as though the rear quarter panel "Datsun" and "GL" badges are higher than they should be.. can you check the inside of the boot as that may give some idea as to what the story is! -
Wow - too straight! I guess the towbar can be thanked haha! It seems your rear bumper is off a later model- can we have pics of the interior next please Your suspension doesn't look too bad in this shot at all - you should see mine, I've got so much neg camber because of the sag ... -

JMT240KGTR I think James' handle is, and before he swapped his for a Valiant he had a load of spares. I wonder if he sold the spares with the car or not... might be worth giving him a PM.

Wouldn't that just be the best?? I would love to see that 126X if they still have it. I think it's really cool. Could just be my imagination, but I see certain C110 cues on it.. Absolutely beautiful! The others seem to have stainless rings around the indicators - were the later models without them? I take it the indicator repeaters have a similar story behind them. -
Hey Bruce! Welcome to the club If you have any pics of the C110 I'd love to see them (as I'm sure a few others are too)!! A question though - I thought the VIN prefix for the R32 GT-R was "BNR32".. am I mistaken?

When, roughly, did the bevel design change for the "Datsun" hatch badge? And did the bevel on the "240Z" badge also change from sharp to rounded? I remember my Z had the rounded Datsun badge, with an angular 240Z badge. It looked wrong... probably was!

The front spoiler is not stock on the KPGC110 as far as I know -
Here's a question - has anyone attempted to restore a plastic badge before? What would be the best way to remove the paint to get down to bare plastic? Would paint stripper damage the plastic? Hope someone can help!

I did not think any Australian-delivered 240Z's had these...? Edit: OK, are those not LHD windscreen wipers?..... this looks like a yank-mobile to me!?!
