  1. Well... now you can get a nice stereo Glad you found her... you're lucky.
  2. I had one on my Zed for around a year, however when I put it on the car was already rusty. I believe it slowed down the rust, but didn't stop it all together. However, if you put one on a car without rust, then I think it would make it very hard for rust to start. I'd recommend it, but it is still a lot of money... keep in mind how long you plan on keeping the car I guess...

Hi Larry, No, the 240K (aka Skyline) wasn't sold in the US, nor any version of it. I'm pretty certain the 240C (aka Cedric) didnt sell in the US either, but don't take my word on that! 240C Coupe http://members.fortunecity.com/hardtops/240C230c.htm 240K 4-door and Coupe http://members.fortunecity.com/mang01/Nissan/240K.htm And you can click my gallery to see another one

Well, Zed, you see, is how Aussies and the British say the letter Z. 240Z, 240K, 240C... they were a part of a family sharing the same 2.4 litre engine, basically. Totally different cars... 240C 240K (pic below is JMT240KGTR's car) And they both came in Coupe form too...

  7. Man....... THAT BUGGY !!!! omfg eeeeeeeeeeeee I want one
  8. Mmmm... are the pictures he took on that website? Couldn't find them... ah, got em, http://www.osella.com.au/wayne/ is the addy
  9. Hmmmm... your car is very bright like you said, and with that cream interior, chrome mirrors and no tint I'm really not sure dark wheels would look good. Your car at the moment has that "clean and sharp" image. On that car some polished up ones might look better... but I think the wheels you have at the moment are perfect. That's my opinion anyway :cheeky:

Darius you're thinking of? Butchered or not, you have to appreciate it !!! It's an absolutely SCHMICK Z too
  11. Oh, so you're asking WHY it's illegal? I guess cos it's spinning and spinnings things are dangerous... :cheeky:
  12. Thanks for all your help guys!! Looks like I'll try to find 7.5, and 9, ideally! Of course beggars can't be choosers... just looks like the set of 10" and 9" ones are out of the question I'd really like 15s instead of 14, but like you said Alan they are going to cost more. We'll just see what comes up as in the end I'm not really all that fussed. About hte offset thing, well, it's going to be hard to find the "perfect" set at a good price, but yes it would be fantastic if you could try to find out for me if you get bored over there!!! I don't get to work out these days, I think some big fat wheels would be good for me Oh and Alan, do you know why the Japanese often stetch the tyres like that so much??? I've noticed it quite a bit and kinda think its cool ... in a psycho awesome Japanese kinda way... if you know what I mean (fender mirrors and vertical tail pipes). ZedRally, do you mean different width rims or tyres? Just interested... Gavin, I'm pretty sure if any parts of the wheel stick out of the wheel arches it's illegal. That's my biggest worry !! :S Once again, thanks guys I really appreciate it
  13. Sorry I'm not interested... but any chance of posting some pics of your car?
  14. Chris, Gawler looks just like Florida! Did you get that!? Better buy up more property.... it's gunna boom any minute !
  15. Amazing... I want your car so bad...:tapemouth
  16. And for fun, the green mean machine! (note I'm not getting THESE flares)
  17. As you may or may not know, I'm currently turning my 240K into a Skyline GT-R replica. Anyways, I'm trying to get some Watanabes at the moment and I'm just having a hard time working out how wide I can go!? I've attached a couple of pictures to let you get the idea, and I was hoping some of you who have a bit of experience might be able to suggest the widest wheel that could fit under the flares. Thanks guys!!! As it stands now: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/data/3079/1243rearquarterlow_small-med.jpg Attached: Skyline with flares (picture thanks to Alan T)
  18. Mmmmmmmmmm those mirrors look better than I expected... but not for me still. About your indicators, are yousure you wouldn't be able to just squeeze through without having any side indicators? Australian 240Z's never had the side indicators.......... and I agree they look 100 times better without them. The yanks even got that big ugly red rectangle on the rear side too ROFL lucky us huh? I guess if you can't get a Roadworthy without side indicators, then the mirros are probably going to be the best place to put them.. :-/ But I would paint them bodycolour.
  19. Didn't you know? Mad Max was the first ever "reality" show... big brother eat your heart out!!!
  20. , reminds me of you and your 1600 Chris.........................
  21. I love the mirrors, but dont think they're going to look too flash on a Z. What do you want your car to look like at the end though??? If you're going all bodykits and crap then do it, otherwise, be subtle.
  22. hehehehhehhee ROFL You better watch out, next thing she'll be out looking to buy one for herself! (is that a bad thing?)
  23. I was born in 1984. So that's my mindset? ok thanks
