Yes, I believe it came with a semi-automatic antenna. As in, you had to flick a switch to make it go up, it wouldn't go up as you turned the radio on... This is what I've been told anyway.

Just quickly did this... its an animated gif so you can see what it looked like before and after. It's only a couple of inches shorter but the difference is noticeable. Maybe on a different angle would be better..
