since the filter is mounted horizontal will you always have oil spill out of the filter when removing?first time for change and i got oil all over the deck. i guess i'll put the drain pan under the filter next time.

i used the ph8a filter recommended by fellow members. i compared the OEM filter(blue) with the ph8a and it was the same size except the ph was a half a titch shorter then the OEM. also there was no P/N # on the OEM.i see a OEM filter on ebay for $6.99 plus shipping. too expensive, i'll stick to the PH filter @ $2.99 off the shelf.

i saw a 280 ( not sure of the year) on ebay last week with the 240 front bumper on it. it looked sharp.soory , no technical help.

in my daily driver i use a teflon filter about once every 4th change. any reason not to use them on my zed?

should of said- they claim covers will hold in moisture- meaning the compatition, not their product.

tyvek makes a car cover, it's the same company that makes the house wrap.keeps the moistre out but lets air in.the problem with a cover is that the under side of the car is exposed to the elements

i'm told if i use a certain brand of oil to stick to that brand and not to switch to something else. these people are very adamant about this.any harm if i use a different oil next year?

i'm going to change my oil before i put her away for the winter and i'd like to get an original oil filter. the one i have now is blue and has japanees writing on it.( also english) how much are they and where can i get one?( in canada) if the cost is too much i'll settle for any after market oil filter.same with the air filter, where and how much? right now on ebay i see one for $2.85 + shipping. thankyou very much in advance.

there was a 70- 71 dash for $1500 in our classifies also a 72 dash for$1000 by the same person( plus shipping) oh yea, no cracks. the rest of the stuff can be had on ebay for reasonable $ if your patient.
