		Best springs?

We have Suspension Techniques lowering springs on our car. I believe around $250.00 for 4 spings 3 years ago. The struts are Tokico 5 way adjustables. Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. That along with front and rear strut tower braces and the 1" heavy duty sway bars make for a nice, stiff, spine jarring ride. Vicky

		Think gas is expensive?.....

I used Nyquil before Dayquil was even around. Now I can't stand the stuff, makes me gag thinking of it:sick: Our biggest food expense is Coke (coca-cola). Soda IS pricey, I must agree 2ManyZs. Vicky

		OEM Windshield

I don't know what the cost of a windshield is, we bought a drivers side window. I think it was around $150, but I'd have to check as it's been awhile since we purchased it. Vicky

		Fuel pressure regulator

Have that in the 77 280Z. Really like it but you have to make a few adjustments until you get it right for your set-up. At least we had to. Vicky

		OEM Windshield

Hey MikeW Courtesy Nissan in Texas has OEM glass for our Z's. We ordered a drivers side window from them. It was still in it's original packaging from the 70's. Vicky

		LSD noise normal?

Thankz 2manyZs I can always count on you for info. The noise is very intimidating, at least to me. It sounds like the whole rear-end is going to "unhook". If you go around a corner and then punch it, it snaps your neck and you can just feel the car grabbing the pavement. I think the car should be brought back to the guy that loaded the gear for a double check. I don't want to die in a firey crash due to the rear-end locking up or falling apartLOL Thankz again Vicky

		LSD noise normal?

OK, here's some basic info.....1977 280Z with the LSD from MSA. It seems that the rear-end seems to slip. I can actually hear the rear-end teeth......I think. Buy this I mean the teeth in the gears are slipping. Is this normal with a LSD? It also appears to happen more often than not when making left hand turns slowly. Is the left rear wheel the drive wheel on our Z cars? There is nothing leaking, just noise like the teeth of the gears are not lined up. Anybody else ever experience this? Vicky

Car cancer at it's worst. Quite a painful site but it can be repaired. Low rating due to exteme pain in my eyes.

		Another one to avoid

I bet that car reeks of mildew. Aren't basements very damp? I would think (if the guy is telling the truth) that half the reason why that car looks so "used" is because it's been sitting in a dark, damp basement for 30 years. Perfect for breeding the rust bugs. Who the hell knows what else has lived in that car. Vicky

		Best car or car chase

I remeber watching a very cheap movie called "The Car". It was about a black early 70ish Dodge Charger that just reaked havoc on all the good citizens in town. Alot of tire spinning. What about the recent movie "Joy Ride". Sort of a car/semi truck chase. Remember the famous line..."Anybody out there seen Candy Cane". Pretty freaky movie IMO. Vicky

		Rack and pinion

If i'm not mistaken, the same rack was used from 70-78 Z's. I have one that is great condition except maybe replacing the boots. The boot started to crack on the small end and I went ahead and changed the rack because at the time I was putting all new parts on my 77Z while it was under restoration. If you can't find a good one let me know. Good luck. ScottROFL
