Don’t think so. That rotor would have been shredded if that were the case. Probably a cap going south IMO. There’s still alot of contact left on the cap nubbin.

That’s the screw adj. not knowing a better phrase is where you can increase/decrease the rpm at idle speed.

Either way would you want to risk/ not knowing what the capacity level is once it’s settled in the car. Myself, I need to take that variable out of the equation and know the oil level may cause a latent failure down the road. IMHO

Reman products don’t have a good track record no matter where you buy them. Unfortunately you have shipping involved. Hopefully they will send an RMA with a shipping label.

I wouldn’t advise filling the trans before installation. Plenty of opportunity to do that while putting the cross member and shaft in.

Has the fuel dampener been removed also in the past?

The FPR @siteunseen is speaking of is on the injector fuel rail itself.

3/8 hose into the pump. 5/16 EFI hose out. You have the wrong fittings on the pump I believe

Suggestion for the future tuning of the fuel system. Install a FP gauge between the filter and fuel rail. This helps a lot determining fuel issues in the future and monitoring the fuel supply. IMHO

Opened just fine for me on my end.
