Vintage Racing or Sportscar Books
I think if you study the story of the Ford GT40, you will find that nothing was "easy" and that the true heroes of the Ford GT40 story were John Wyer Automotive, not Ford. I recommend John Horseman's book; "Racing in the Rain". Ronnie Spain's; "GT40, Individual History and Race Record" is also great if not a little outdated. "By Brooks Too Broad for Leaping", by Denise McCluggage is superb. How about "Cannonball" by Brock Yates or "Sunday Driver"? I recently read Brian Redman's book; "Daring Drivers Deadly Tracks". Excellent. Last March I saw John Fitzpatrick at Sebring and bought his new book; "My Life at the Wheel".

Wheel Wells... body colour or black?
"Correct" would be body color over a lightly textured undercoating, I believe.

Point well taken, Alan. Nissan has one hell of a race record in the U.S. which promotes the impression of dominance. What is interesting about your point is that manufacturers that might dominate on a global scale don't necessarily dominate in North America. And vice-versa.

Tomo, Scanning a published book and posting it to the internet is a clear violation of federal copyright law.

I would probably go for another set if you decide to make another batch. The one set I bought is very nice - very well done.

49ème salon de l'automobile (Bruxelles, 01.1970) First Z in Europe?
Oh yea! Nice images, Blue. The photo from Melbourne is stunningly crisp. I can make out the wires coming out of the headlight bucket under the front fender. Notice the gas door lock; standard in other export markets. All we got was that cheesy plastic knob. The Earls Court car has chrome Zs, Kats. I think it sits high also. The wheel angle looks funny. Perhaps the car was lifted into place and the suspension is not settled. Do you see how the paint texture is rough in the fender well? Undercoating. It almost looks like dirt but that can't be. In a car show?

Need dates and badge identification?
Your Z32 graphic is stretched as the 'Z' is in a circle, not an oval. The 'Z' is always inscribed to a circle. Always.

All-new Z car (code-named Z35) will honor the legendary Datsun
Think about it...back in the late sixties, headlights influenced the design of the front fenders far more than they do today. Air flow around (and through) the car was not nearly as sophisticated as today. The design of cars today are influenced by many different factors that just didn't exist back then. I'm having a hard time with the "gaping grouper" front grill myself.

Amelia isl lot 244. $170k
Yes. This car has been covered ad-nauseum here and Facebook. There are many things wrong with the car including the lack of wheel caps for those replica wheels.

JDM Headlight cover trim?
Yes, those appear to be the real deal although I know of only one "re-manufacture" and even those were very well done. I don't know of the "cheap knock-offs" the seller is talking about. According to Kats, the trim rings came in four different designs. Here is his sketch.
