  1. I'd participate just to keep things available.
  2. If you find the info, post it for the rest of us-I'm not there, but I will be soon! Will
  3. Isuzu NPR, Mitsubishi Conquest (or GM equivalent), Ford Power Stroke, Audi, Ford Probe, and more. I am going to use several smaller cores on the same plenum, with a HO fan pulling air through. AutoSpeed did an article on flow rates through about 15 yard pulls to find out what was the best. I can probably find and email that article if you are interested. Will

Rick, You got it! But, Who is Elvis? Oh, yea, he is the guy that left the building... Just Kidding, but we were exposed to his acting, not just his music... Will
  5. Replacing an injector hose is a true pain in the butt, but it can be done. It just takes three serveings of your most powerful cuss words, 10 gallons of sweat, and a few busted nuckels-unless you go ahead and replace all 6, plus the rest of the hoses on the fuel rail. WIll

I got a tracking number from payapl today, still no word from MWZ, and USPS says: "Current Status You entered 0180 5213 9073 4578 4096 The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on September 02, 2004 to expect your package for mailing. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later." I guess that means it will ship out tomorrow. If I had only made that 11th phone call, I would have received everyhting with in a couple of days. Having said all of that, I still hope Chloe is doing well, and recovering from whatever is going on. Will
  8. Well, Isn't that interesting! Thanks for sharing, I'll just have to spend some time checking it out, especially the Ultra version as it come available. Will
  9. I bought a ton of the ultrabtrite white leds and resistors from them to rework the dash lights in my '72. Good company! Will

TIR has been the subject of many threads in the archives-they do not seem to understand what "original" means-in addition to trying to sell pieces at overly inflated prices. I bought the Zedd Findings "designed to replicate the original floor of the 240Z. All bends, undulations, holes, and forms have been duplicated" floor set, and was impressed. Mr. Osborne does have a handle on what original means, as well as what it doesn't, and has expressed his willingness to help those of us that want "original" parts, or parts clearly identified as patterned after original parts. Stop Digging! 613 389 1397 I am going to email this morning-I need a bunch of parts! Will
  12. A mas air sensor generally uses some form a resistance measure of a heated wire, I am going to use a map (manifold absolute pressure) sensor with GM engine management-and It isn't too far from working right, now! I will outline the whole thing in a technical article when it is proven in the car. It is just getting to the tune it, tune it, and tune it soime more stage-while sitting (roughed in-ugly spagetti accident looking mess) in a parts car. I hope to be spending more time on it in about 2-3 weeks-after the '72 has been undercoated (inside and out), and the bodywork is done. Will
  13. I will map the whole thing out when I get it working! It is going to be on the '72(83 turbo engine). Will
  14. I am converting to a manifold pressure sensor to get rid of the restrictions caused by the AFM! Will
  15. Can't get anything across Alfas' paddock! Cleaning has always worked for me. Will

All of the feedback after the first Pos was added since this morning. There were several Negs, and one Pos when I wrote Ebay and Paypal. Most of the "new" pos are from transactions from June and before. I have not left feedback yet because I do not know what is going on, but when I do, I will. Will Where is everybody shopping now? I need a bunch of parts/hardware for my stripped '72!

There are several recent blemishes on the Ebay feedback Chloe that built. I have filed a complaint with both Paypal and Ebay. They list Chloe as the owner of the business, and gave a hotmail account for her email address. Someone is trying to take advantage of the loyalty Chloe worked so hard to build. If ebay and paypal don't get the issue resolved and information passed, I can now call the local police, and get them involved as my transaction is fully documented and across state lines. Looks Like MidWestZ has become a black hole. Will

Yesterday was three weeks since the "buy it Now" and paypal payment. Two weeks since my first email. one week since my last email, I will send my last attempt today. In three weeks there has been no email, no product, no contact! I suppose that ebay and paypal can force some kind of a response. Will

You guys remind me of lord of the Rings! "What is taters?", "warm and wriggling" Will
  21. Great story! Picture it from the Squirrels point of view, sitting in a tree with his buddies, telling them about his day.... There I am minding my own business, just being a squirel, trying to get a nut. I go to cross the street to get to the most choice Pecan tree in the neighborhood, when a huge four tired beast pounces over me to eat me whole. My heart is racing in my furry little chest. I urge every ounce of strength to thow myself sideways, and somehow, I manage to tumble out from under this huge preditor. Dazed, I regain my faculties just soon enough to find one of the strangest looking things I have ever seen, bearing down on me, ready to chew me to bits. It had the shiniest Jet black coat I have ever seen, the biggest and brightest teeth ready to chew me to smitherenes, and a deep and low attack grow that screams "don't even try, you are done for"! I was frightened out of my skin at first, and momentarily froze. Then, suddenly, I had had enough! This is not the first time this has happened, these large carnivorous creatures are constantly taking their toll on my family and friends. I was going to let this voracious black, shiney-toothed preditor know that I had teeth and claws too. I pounced over its mouth, and I sank everything that was sharp into it, shredding its flesh, blaring my battle cry as I brought the war to it, up-close and personal! It tried to throw me off once, I knew I was winning, so I held on for another pass. I used its momentum of its motion, and tore huge chunks of flesh off the creature and carved up the other side of this menace. I heard his gutteral grow turn into shrill screams of terror! I saw changes in his shape and experienced its fear pheromone! It bellowed like a bull, and tried to run like a frightened racoon, wow was it fast. despite how large and how fast it was, I was getting the best of this creature, but I wasn't sure my point was made, so I got in its face! I mean right in its face, I saw the terror in its eyes. I felt its hot breath from its panicked screams. It was so deep in fear, it threw me off instead of gulping me down. It threw me off to be double teamed by a coulpe of its pack members, but I ran those off too, they were more afraid of me than the one I rode around the neighborhood. I don't think any of them will give us any more trouble. Especially the large black one with the shiney teeth and the gutteral growl-He does not want me to get the chance to take another piece of him-the daffodill! Will Will

I wonder what you will find when you start taking out the interior! You may have spent 3 grand on somebodies stash! From the pictures, I don't think one weekend with the plasma cutter and the Tig will be long enough, I better bring the mig and some cupons too!! (That means teach you how to weld, so we can both have a go at it!-don't worry, the mig has stargon, not spatter wire) Will
  25. I am still exploring the options, but as I said at the beginning of this thread, I don't expect to really get seriously into it untill after the '72 is back on the street and beautiful (December/January). I am exploring manufacturing methods/contractors in the meantime. The plexi is no problem, the trim ring is a little more complicated, and then I have to work on the seals-but they sould be the easiest of all. Will
