  1. It needs tuning?
  2. Don’t know whether I’m excited or scared sh!tless...
  3. Not sure. I bought my new panel in 2015, anticipating that they may stop being available. I haven’t touched that panel since then, but I would very upset if I went to buy it now and it wasn’t available!
  4. We can still buy them from the dealer here in Canada...
  5. Achievement unlocked! E88 head tapped and ported for N42 non-webbed fuel injection intake!
  6. Two big thumbs up for Kent posting his build(s). We have been friends for a while now and I can vouch for his collection of awesome 240’s, 300’s, and a few other tasty exotic morsels too! zKars can also chime in here as well. He has known Kent longer than I have.

Too funny... I was wondering with the user name... too much of a coincidence!

Are you the new owner? Normally I would congratulate you but I don’t know if that is more appropriate than condolences...! But either way, best of luck and I hope it has a successful outcome for you!

None of those things are a problem if the rest of the car is one piece (relatively). The fact the front end is destroyed makes those things less desirable as a parts car. Or a tube frame rebuild.

Fibreglas rear bumper, cracked dash, stock drivetrain, stock brakes, interior is filthy, bondo on the quarter panels, lumps in the paint show poor body work. Glass was good, tires and wheels were still good, but overall, nothing spectacular or worth more than what it sold for.

My friend looked at it in person. It will need MAJOR front end welding and metal replacement or a tubular frame. The engine bay is badly crumpled on the passenger side.

    Oh wow...
  13. If they are the same manufacturer the quality is very good!
  14. Works with iOS iPhones and Android phones. Tune from your driver seat!
  15. I just waited till one went on sale and bought a new helmet. Not taking chances on my eyes!
  16. No... they make a four cylinder version though.
  17. Up for sale is a used 123 Ignition, Programmable Bluetooth Distributor. It came with the stroker engine I purchased and was used with no issues by the previous owner. I am switching to a Haltech Elite 750 ECU with fuel injection, Coil On Plug and Crank Angle Sensor so the electronic programmable distributor will be redundant. Price as new from 123ignition are $585 US plus shipping. I am asking $400 US plus shipping. Unit is clean, damage free and has all the pieces needed to plug directly into your Datsun L24/26/28 motor. 18. I got mine from @zKars second hand. Maybe he can chime in on where he originally got his from?
  19. I don't think it's a matter of prioritizing the V8's over the L6's as much as a design change that improved the fit for one and had little impact on the other. That said, there is room for improvement in the design, and credit to Silvermine, he is looking at modifying the plate to accommodate both with no negative impacts.
  20. In conversations with Edan @silverminemotors, it appears the offset firewall opening was designed to allow more room for exhaust headers. This is especially helpful for people with V8 swaps etc. The amount of change in mounting tab position is minimal, but he is looking into whether a small angle adjustment in the firewall plate will position the shaft closer to the pedal box mounting points. In the end, this should improve the design and make install easier, but not affect functionality or performance in any way.
  21. Maybe Mike can rename this thread “77 280Z colour wiring diagram” to avoid confusion with other years.
  22. And a couple more of the linkage through the firewall.
  23. Here’s a good shot of the motor and the clearance with the pedal box.
