  1. Here is more of the two Bugatti's. The Blue one was from Texas, and the red one was from Florida. I would be very suprised if these were driven here. I am sure most of these cars were trucked to this event. If you have to truck your car to events either you are obsessive compulsive, your car is worth a ton, or a combo of both. I never get tired of looking at these photos.
  2. Here is a Dellahaye. I hope I am spelling that right. The only time I have seen one of these was at the BlackHawk museum here in California.
  3. front view of the alfa
  4. Here is the most beautiful Alfa I have seen. I think it is one very similar to the Scuderia Ferrari cars. This one is not a Scuderia though. Here you go lachlan. There is more to come.
  5. I have a ton more pics. If you are after a certain marque I can post more. I have more of Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Cristalia, Triumph, AC, Pierce Arrow, Mercedes, and probably some more that I cannot think of or have no clue what they are. I hope you guys like the photos. There should be a Z rally. That would be cool. Take care, Ben:classic:
  6. Here is one for alfadog
  7. Maserati racer
  8. I went to the monterey historics 3 or 4 years ago and the theme was Maserati and there were more Ferrari's than Maserati's there. The parking lot was comparable to the cars in the races. Here is a Ferrari 250gt TDF(Tour de France). I love these cars too.
  9. There was three of these, one being a Gullwing.
  10. The name is Bond, James Bond. Hehehehe
  11. Here is another nice looking Ferrari(is there such thing as an ugly Ferrari???). I am not sure of the model type.
  12. Here is one of my favorites; a early 1950's Jaguar XK120.
  13. I have never seen one of these in person. There were two!
  14. A very nice Ferrari 250gt California convertable..
  15. Here in California every year there is a non-competitive vintage rally that starts at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. The rules are that the car be of 1957 year model or older. Most of the cars were European, but there were some American too. I thought that many of you might find this interesting even though there are no Z's. I hope it is anyway. Here are the pics. I will post more later. By the way, these are some of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. Take care, Ben:classic:

Welcome to the forum Jim. This is a 1st gen z site as well as a 240k/c110 place too. I love the 432, gtr, and other japanese nissan variants. There are quite a lot of threads about them, and there are a few members that have Fairlady Z's. I too have to be content with my 1/24 s20's and fujimi kits of the sorts. Take care, Ben:classic:
  20. Maybe he had a 190sl. Those were and still are a fraction of the cost of the 300sl. I agree with you there alfa, one cannot live in a 300SL. The square footage is very small for the price. heheheh, but man does it look good... These are highly prized cars of collectors and I would not be surprized if the price reaches well over 200k.
  21. Yeah, welcome to the forum. This is a great place to be if you just got a Z because I when I first got my Z I knew nothing about it, and now with the help of the members here and the most valueble information on the threads I have come to understand these cars more than I ever would have. If I did not stumble upon this site I would have been a lost soul. hehehehhe. Take care and good luck with the car. There are a ton of people here that have parts or will guide you in the right direction to find the parts that you are looking for. -Ben:)
  22. I know this is not Z related, but I thought you guys would like to take a look at this anyway because we are all car enthusiasts here. I have only seen a few of these 300sl's on ebay before and only seen a hand full of them in person. I would have to say that the 300sl of the 50's and very early 60's has to be one of the most beautiful designed cars ever. I like the gullwings even more, but this one is gorgeous as well. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6338&item=2475215746&rd=1 -Ben:love:
  23. You guys have to see this. The nose looks really good. I have no clue if the nose is factory, but it possibly could be. Alan, where are you? If it was a factory nose I wonder how it got on the car. Anyways, take a look and see for your self. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6187&item=2475587617&rd=1 -Ben:classic:
