So... this is my first new topic posting, and I'm sure its a dumb one but here goes. It seems my left turn signal/ parking light socket came loose from the assembly and the harness dangled/dragged on the road until it ate away half the socket. I've been searching for just a replacement socket online, but haven't found one that looks like it would fit. I did find a pair of used harnesses on ebay for $65.00, but that seems steep to me. Is it? Does anyone have a suggestion other than just suck it up and write that check?

My '72 came to me with one keyed under the steering column. Of course I didn't have any idea what it was, and discovered its purpose the hard way when I turned it by accident and couldn't get out of the driveway the next day. That was a long frustrating 12 hours (no joke) of trial and error until I finally figured it out.

Well, and the 5-speed.

It looks very comparable to my recent acquisition, except for the air dam and alloys. At about 4x the price. I hope it sells for that - makes me look like a genius!

Do not go through with the deal if you are uncomfortable with the seller. He would have no recourse against you except to keep your deposit as liquidated damages. and truly, he should be okay with that too since it nets him $500 for essentially nothing.
