The wife and I are going to drive up on Saturday morning for the car show, but not entering our car in it. We only live about 45 minutes away, but unfortunately work and family interfere with the other weekday events. For anyone who's been to a Zcon before, can you still buy t-shirts and such without registering for anything?

I will have no excuse not to attend next year, since that's spittin distance from me.

Phil's a great guy, despite being an Aub. His registry is legit and well curated. I think he's in it for the info, not just the likes, if that makes any difference. Facebook is just a good way to cast a wide net. If anyone doesn't want to join FB but wants to join the registry, I'll be glad to pass the info on to him for inclusion. I believe there are many cars registered there owned by non-facebookers.

Thanks guys. I have an old 34R that came out of my 240Z, which is a fraction shorter than a 24F. I'll give that a try.

What kind of battery are you running with a stock setup? I have a 69 510 4door that came to me without a battery. I read that a size 24 was stock, but that seems too tall - the terminals are almost touching the inside of the hood when its closed. Is there a shorter battery that works well?

Even cheaper than that - I just bought a Beck Arnley switch from them for my '72 for $13 including shipping.

Any idea what your buy-it-now price would be?

Looks like a great project! Finding one in stock condition, or close to it, is more than half the challenge. That way, at least most of the mistakes made will be your own. Have fun and welcome to the club!
