  1. @EhlersRS If I may, what did a used splash pan run you? For Iowa the condition isn't too bad. A little rusty on the inside near the back but no obvious really rotten areas

This might clarify some details Unfortunately, the sound track sounds like an adult movie, so try to not get too excited...

Yes, I believe it is but the collar is what helps apply pressure and keep it square. There are a lot of areas where you would have to make access or do it freehand. I don't have a need for it currently but I was just surfing around and found this one with a lot of extra bits. They retail for $300-400 which is too much for my limited use. I found this one for like $175 or something. So I got a new toy, I mean tool!
  5. @siteunseen Cliff, That avatar is perfect for you!!!!
  6. Spotted an orange or off red 240z on Hwy 296 headed towards Woodruff Rd in Greenville, SC on Thursday about 10:30AM. Is that anyone from the forum? Looked pretty good. I haven't seen one on the road around here in a long time, including my own...

I recently aquired this because I hate spot welds and I thought it might help out. I found this one at a great deal on Ebay. We will see... Air powered and has a rear lever for applying pressure. Adjustable depth, so you can just drill through the top layer(s)
  8. I would think the welded patch and the brazed patch were two different repairs. I agree a little reinforcement is in order before the rotisserie! Looked like a number of patches under the drivers seat too...
  9. TT convertible sounds like fun!
  10. The factory tray is a good bit different with the edges of the cut outs beaded down and the support is a compund type shape with no cutouts
  11. Ditto! I would look at two pieces, The battery tray itself and the compound curve area under the battery tray. It is fairly hard to fabricate with out a "wheel"
  12. Maybe it's a clearance issue for the cowl? The screw being a lower profile than the bolt...
  13. That's cheap! Any problems getting all the parts back? I know sometimes small parts are an issue for larger platers...
  14. Ummmmmm...No We shall remain bondless...
  15. Don't get caught on the other side of that wall, 2 years in prison on first offense, 10 on the second...
  16. Beautiful bird!! Aspen, Nome...
  17. What provoked the engine swap? I knew you received the engine, but what was wrong with the existing engine?
  18. Very nice Steve! No bolt in the cherry picker arm?
  19. No,No Sounds like fun! That's great. CZC is just one big family! Bond for everyone...
  20. That's funny! A lot of guys here are, my poke at them...
  21. You gonna run the LD28 intake? I have thought about doing that...
  22. Finding an acid resistant pump can be an issue. I bought a cheap parts washer to use with a rust remover. The rust remover ate the pump internals...
  23. Is that an LD28 intake?
