Fluke 73 III, wish I still had a Fluke 8060A.
  3. I"m in for a set of the plated type as well.
  4. I would be in for a set or two if someone re-pops them.

I found the hatch hinges catching on the seal was my problem. Post 10 in this thread.
  6. Not sure where your expensive threshold is, but you could look here. The prices are Cdn so you will get it cheaper. What kind of analog signal are you looking for, Vdc or Current? Some of the ones on this page will run off of the 12V system and others need 24V, so make sure to check that as well. http://www.omega.ca/section_eng/pressure-transducers.html

Jim: I am planning on being in your neck of the woods early next year. Will take a can or two then.
  8. I got away with using a couple of old yoga mats that I borrowed from my wife. You were at my old garage so you know how tight it was to move around. I only had on little oops while installing the rain gutter trim on the roof, second part I installed on the car.
  9. Very nice Jim, wish I was in the market for another one. Would scoop it up in a heartbeat.
  10. Finally found some centre caps for my rims.
  11. Awesome meet, lots of great cars, nice location and got to meet up with a few members as well. Chickenman, CanTechZ, and zKars. The clubs that joined together and put this on were great. I hope they do it again next year.
  12. I can wait, I still have my WP in a parts box. Decided to put a new one on instead of trusting a 40+ old one.
  13. Dual points are for an Auto, I think this is what a early orig water pump looks like.
  14. I think this is it. There is a link in one of the posts to one by Enrique.
  15. The link I posted does just that
  16. As I found a original set, this one that I made is in a pile-o-parts that zKars got from me. See if you can talk him into looking for it. I think he only has a "couple" of part boxes to sort through.

congrats on the retirement. I did the same a couple of years ago and have no regrets at all. It was quite a drop in yearly income, but with a small pension, a few RRSPs and CPP coming up this year we have made a go of it. Not having to get up to a alarm clock every day has been on of the best parts. Enjoy.
  18. This is the one you want to use http://www.amazon.com/Jack-Sealey-Valve-Spring-Compressor/dp/B000R9ZITC?ie=UTF8&keywords=valve%20spring%20compressor&qid=1461730351&ref_=sr_1_28&sr=8-28
  19. I would do a search on "reaction disc" yours might have fallen down. That seems like a lot of adjustment.

  21. You can sure tell that car spent some time in Alberta, I think every car I owned in Alberta had hail damage.

wheee not sure about the 74-76 or 77-78, but the 70-73 black panels can still be bought at your local dealer. I have bought several pairs and they were in stock in Calgary. They were a good deal as it was in Cdn and no shipping costs.

As I said if you have a bill of sale that agrees with the VIN then all is good. I registered my car four years after I bought it from a seller that owned it for about two year without ever registering it and all I needed was the bill of sale from the PO, there was no government documents showing that he had ever owned it as he had never registered it. If the Vin does not get flagged as a stolen or wrecked car then there is no problem.

In Canada there really is no such thing as a title. All you need is a valid bill of sale with the proper SN. I would think that getting new door, dash and engine bay plates that agree with the firewall SN would be good enough for any province registration.
