  3. Another of SteveJ's tricks is to spray compressed air upside down onto the ignition module when it acts up to cool it. If the problem goes away that tends to narrow the problem down to that module. As they age they can act up when they get hot.
  4. Yeah the efi cars use high pressure pumps which pump about 40 to 50lbs until the pressure regulator. That kind of pressure will find a loose connection or split in a hurry.

  6. Also the pigments used in the paint back then are no longer available and the chemical composition of the paint has also changed from solvent to water based. Only way you will get close is to mix paint to match the underside of the tool box lid and use a single stage process without clear coat. Another problem with be matching the size of the metallic used in the original paint.
  7. Consider that these cars were painted in a single-stage process 50 years ago. Most paint jobs these days are two-stage with the clear coat making a huge difference in appearance.
  8. Here are two pics - one without the hard lines and one with them in place. If you can obtain a clutch hard line from a parts car, it should help you to position the bracket on the frame rail. Hope this helps.
  9. I saw the BAT 71 240Z, I really love the car’s preserved condition and the silver color. The original 901 silver something looked different from very shiny silver nowadays. I like it.
