Got the manifolds and heat shield on. Started attaching the carbs and balance tube items.

Moving along well here. Got the motor and complete drive-line installed. Added some more brake components and a few engine bay parts. Planning on putting in the exhaust and intake manifold assembly tonight. Might even get to install the carbs.

1 pointOne thing that the teaser lacks if they were going for the retro look is the S30's hood shape. It looks pretty well flat like the 350Z hood. It needs the classic Z's center bulge to add some character and interest to an otherwise boring panel. They got the side profile right, but missed one of the key styling points of the original.1 point -

1 pointlooks less roundie soft looking than the 370z from what you can see, good. the current z looks too much like a punch buggy on steroids. I personally think the mid 90's TT 300zx is the best of them all. A little too busy in the cockpit, but body lines were perfect. I have often thought it would be nice to have one of those 90's era, but I like to work on my cars and that looks like no fun at all.1 point -

Got the POR-15 finished last Tuesday. Undercoating sprayed on Thursday. Most of the fuel and brake lines on Saturday and front suspension put in yesterday. Moving right along here. Hope to have rear suspension in on Tuesday. E-brake and smaller lines in on Thursday. Then complete engine and drive train installed this coming weekend. The more I get on the car, the more it opens up space in the garage. Here's a few pics.
