Hi, I'm into Datsun's, RX-7's and aircooled VW's. I own a '73 240Z two RX-7's and a Beetle. I love Datsun's in general. I'm pretty much obsessed with my Z car and I'm gradually adding to it and getting it closer to how I want it to be. I post pics of all my cars and other stupid stuff on Instagram quite a bit. The main thing is to enjoy the cars as much and as often as possible.

The ravages of time are usually not kind to Z cars left sitting for too long. Especially outside. The wind, the rain, critters, the elements and nature can take their toll ... This 73 240z decided to at least defend it's self from theft. Qualifies for Bring a Trailer and also ... Bring a Chainsaw A while back, me & Zup made a trip to the shop yard where he has three 240 parts cars stored. Some other interesting cars stored in there, but this is probably the best one to look at. Thanks again for the Enkei wheels off the other white one Jim! We will have to get back over & put some steelies back on it. And maybe do some pruning on the one pictured.

The ATS tool I linked to goes down to 1/4" tubing. I guess that leaves out 3/16, but I would think that would be small enough for our uses. I bought the graham small tool for 1/4 and 5/16. Seems like you've been down this road before. Did you ever correct the problem or just move on to another problem as usual?

And a Merry Christmas to us all! Please replace the fuel rail with rubber fuel hose. it's proven to help with percolation of fuel, as per Jeff G an automotive engineer with a race team that uses the 240Z.

I am not sure I would have to pay the fines in South Carolina. Interesting thought though. You can apply for a title for any car older than 30 years if it hasn't been titled in our state previously...
