  1. I have a nice set of 40 DCOE triple webers with a Cannon manifold and linkage for sale. Available after another successful SU conversion. Very clean inside and out, very low mileage. Manifold freshly blasted, cleaned and painted. Linkage arms replaced with great quality arms from Speedway motors. All hardware. Only problem is one broken mounting insulator (see pic) that will need to be replaced. All hardware, every nut bolt screw and insulator oring. Jetting : Chokes 4.5, Mains 135, Air 180, Aux 50F11, Em. tubes F11, Pump jet is 60. Chokes are snap in style. No air horns required or included. Oh yeah, and three thin K&N air filters as well. Freshly cleaned and oiled with genuine K&N products by yours truly. Chrome is great! Asking $1000. Shipping to be paid by buyer. Let me know if you have any questions.
  2. This is a recommendation for 240zrubberparts.com. As you can see from the pictures the old rubber had deteriorated to mush. New assemblies were about $35.00 each. But 240zrubberparts.com had the rubber for only $10.00 for 2. Great quality and easy swap.
  3. It was replaced to my blue 240Z. I want people in Japan to be interested in export S30 more and more . Kats

Mike McGinness at Banzai is an honorable man, he has been supplying quality items to the Z community for many years as well as supplying excellent mechanical services. He is "old school" on his order and payment process. You should have NO concerns over sending him a check for your order. And... the engine paint he sells is ZCCA certified for color authenticity.
  5. I've reused mine multiple times. If it does come off the valve cover, leave the bolts after loosening them up and it should stay, make sure and put the front straight side on the drivers side. I put mine on upside down once and had a small vacuum leak. I'd be hoping it's in the valve where it's loosing pressure from not seating / sealing tight. Seems easiest to repair to me.
  6. Don't forget that your car got to be a part of parking 3 green 280Zs next to each other. All of them very nice.
  7. Yeah I can imagine the time + effort involved means they are not cheap to make. How much as spindle pins these days? I think something like $80 a pair now? Maybe you can get them cheaper? But if you can save your pins each time you remove them it would only take a couple of uses to have the tool pay for itself. If you own more than 1 S30Z (some of us are that guilty and suckers for punishment) then the savings are even better... But I understand not everyone will see it that way.
  8. Kira, I have a 240 rear overrider bar available, but I don't remember what year it is from. Is there any identifying measurements you can convey that would help me determine what year it is for? Or, as an alternative... Could you identify it simply from a photograph? Cause I could certainly do that.
  9. Sounds like your rings.

I'm running modified mirrors from a 96 Buick Park Avenue. They were also used on a couple other GM products from similar year range. I had to modify the mounting area to better match the contour of the Z door. They aren't fancy racing mirrors, but I think they look like they belong. Here's a couple pics:
  13. Quiet ride is a great small company located just a few miles from me. The template for the 260z firewall insulator was made from my car, super nice people.
  14. George, Thanks. Just got a reply from your autorim and they have advised to purchase their Thermozite Heat Shield Carpet Padding!! maybe 5 to 6 yards for the full car.
  15. The closest piece I found is this - from the backside! Looks about right?
  16. Me too. Never seen one go up by itself. Given the extreme flat angle the strut has to the hatch body when it's closed, I can't imagine a strut strong enough to lift it from that position. Even the 280's with two struts can't do it. There does appear to be cheap easy to get aftermarket struts . RockAuto https://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1806840&cc=1209170&jnid=406&jpid=0
  17. Mr. Brock has "re-designed" the rear spoiler. He wanted to make it fit clear across the top of the rear quarter - so the outside edges of the rear spoiler lines up with the body line {or in the case of the BRE Livery - with the paint line}. The original was just a little short of reaching the body line on each side. Some people found out about the new redesigned one's before they were even publicly announced.. and they sold out. So if you want the new one - it may take a while to get an order filled. You can see more about it on the BRE2 Facebook site. Nissan did offer the rear spoiler in Japan...Because of BRE's Contract with Nissan, BRE was allowed to sell any of the performance options direct to the public. BRE also supplied most of them to the Authorized DATSUN Dealers her in North America because they cost less to produce locally, than to produce and ship them from Japan. At the Dealership I worked at - it was pretty much a Customer Choice related to paint or not. So we bolted them on Black.. but if the Customer wanted we'd paint them for a bit extra money. On a few 240's for the Showroom Floor - they were painted body color. Those 240Z's usually got full optional equipment - in order to display everything on the car. {spoilers, mag's, body side molding, Racing Strips, etc}. FWIW, Carl B.

Ok...new to the forum and have a question...is a white interior worth keeping? I must admit that with my limited 240Z experience I have seen few cars with white interiors and lots with black ones. My personal preference is a black interior, but I am also a "purist" (previous experience with Camaros and Mustangs...please don't hate me) and am leaning towards the white interior if it can be resurrected to look showroom new once more. The current interior looks like hell...white vinyl on the tunnel is streaked with brown, buckets are shot, and the rear plastic trim is basically tan and falling apart. Can the white vinyl pieces still be sourced, or can black pieces be dyed or painted to look halfway decent? I have already spent about $500 on Ebay buying black pieces and buckets, but they can be resold to recoup most of my outlay. The headliner is in great shape, and the door panels are only needing the chrome srips redone. My '72 is an original paint code 110 (red-orange), and I see that it is one of the few colors a white interior could be purchased with. I do not plan to have a concours car, but rather a very nice driver for shows and Sundays...it doesn't have to be perfect. Gentlemen, is a white interior worth saving?
  19. Here is the information from the 1972 dealer accessories brochure. -Mike
