  1. Just keep in mind that the more you mess with the cars, the more variables that Chet and I would have to sort out to diagnose what needs to be done.
  2. I set mine 5 years ago and haven't touched them since. Bonzi Lon

  6. Replaced the felt inside the window runners and frame. Found the 1st foot of speedo cable snapped off, problem found. Gave it a wash and went to my first car club meet in town. Went for cruise. This Rebello 240z so far isn't much quicker than a stock B4 RSK, at all.
  7. Thank you. Not much gurgling or popping, maybe a little while decelerating. As far as torque goes, not a whole lot around 3k but between 4-5k.....OH BABY!
  8. This is from this past Sunday, June 28. Took her for her first turn on the "Tail of the Dragon" and then the Foothills Parkway here in East Tennessee. This picture is from the Parkway looking out over where I live, West Millers Cove. If you've heard of Blackberry Farm Resort, that's the place. She was wonderful, screaming through the Dragon! I may have sped just a bit. Handling was unbelievable, and very strong. Pretty sure I and the bride are going to take her to Memphis for ZCON.
  9. Passed inspections with my silver 240z! And my blue barnfind moved by itself for the first time since 1996! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
  10. I ordered a set of Triple Weber DCOE 40's today along with RAM air filters, I'll hopefully have them installed and set up within a couple of weeks of them arriving here 👍
  11. I just had to grind the valves on my snow blower. I used Permatex Gasket Remover as part of the job.... it bubbled the carbon and gasket like paint stripper.
  12. I held the flashlight for my Dad and fetched tools throughout my childhood. That was my mechanical education. I bought this book, How to Rebuild Your Nissan/Datsun OHC Engine: Covers L-Series Engines 4-Cylinder 1968-1978, 6-Cylinder 1970-1984: Tom Monroe: 9781931128032: Amazon.com: Books, and with the help of the good folks on this forum rebuilt a '77 motor, alone. Buy that book and don't worry about the crank, it's balanced already. Great looking car too!
  13. Yep, looks like I missed that last night. Looking at the other Owners Manuals I have, it looks like it was first added to the Nov 15 1970 edition (which may be the manual that came with the 3/71 parts car I had). I don't see it in the July 20 1970 edition. -Mike
