The UK licensing agency assigned a Registration number to my '72 240Z, DRS 329K, the letter K at the end represents the year of manufacture, the others are totally random registration letters and numbers, however DRS are my initials! Some things are meant to be :-)

Yeah I feel that the black takes away from the classic look,but it does look nice with the black wheels

Little update: 2 upcoming events for the 240Z 5 Juli I will be at Japan Classic Sunday again, http://www.japanclassicsunday.nl/ and 2 August I will be back at the Sinsheim Museum in Germany, where they hold the anual US car treffen, http://sinsheim.technik-museum.de/us-car-treffen

Painted the block and buttoned her all up. I do believe she is ready to be bolted in.

A friends car for comparition.

Its been slow going the last two weeks. I made the bumper brackets out of aluminium and now they are being fabricated out of stainless. I told him I wasn't in a rush because I had some other things to do first. That meant he left them in the box and forgot about then until I called last Monday. I should have them this weekend. After so many prototype aluminium brackets I finally got the grill where I wanted it. Then I made all the brackets out of stainless and did the final mounting of the grill today.

Well... we finally started to tackle the rust challenge this 2015! on my 15 year old Son's Series 1. It's going to be a long haul and might post again in 2016 and so on... ! Happy (welding) New Year!
