Godzilla Raceworks Vintage Air Conversion Hoses

Has anyone tried the AC hoses Godzilla Raceworks makes specifically for the Vintage Air evaporator? This looks like it might be the lowest cost option to complete the AC system’s refrigerant circuit.

I would really like to have stainless steel hardlines for the majority of my system, but I can’t rig weld OR silver braise, so it may not be possible for me to do myself.

I was also looking into Aeroquip EZ-Clip connectors and narrow hose, but I’m unclear as to the reliability of that vs beadlock fittings.

These Godzilla hoses will definitely be cheaper and I won’t have to buy tools. I just don’t know if they will route the way I would want them to if I did it myself.

Hi Matthew,

did you installed the AC hoses kit from Godzilla? Any reporting on your experience?
Ordered a kit two weeks ago from them but they seem more slow than a snail… the items have not even shipped after I placed the order more than two weeks ago…

cheers,

DHA

I did a test fit but will probably go a different direction. It’s well made and would be great except that it gets too close to my headers. After discussing it with them they told me it’s designed to work around the stock exhaust manifold, which doesn’t get as close.

I think it’s a good option for anyone with that setup and will probably be selling the kit I have. It’s been too long to return it.

I bought some tool ( $$$ 😞 ) to make my lines for inside the cabin. It worked out well. But I’ve yet to actually hookup the AC system, it’s all in place, but not filled if that makes sense.

If you mark the lines/fittings and ship them over, I can press them.
