Whereabouts in NC is the homestead? If it is anywhere near Raleigh, it's only a 4 hour drive from the beach.

The Z is going to Fayetteville tonight (parents farm), there is a big barn there with other of my late Dad’s  cars.   It will be there for a few months until my house we are building is complete.  My in-laws live in the Raleigh area.  

I live in Emerald Isle and building a house there.  New house has a big garage.

It’s on my list. The car sat for almost 18 yrs, I was happy I was able to get it to run (thanks to the people on this forum). Rome wasn’t built overnight ?

I think those longer tail pipes are to keep the fumes away from the hatch?  I have seen a lot of stained rear bumpers on 280s, matter of fact I see one every time I go down stairs. 

I'd kick the $^!# of of one every time I walked by it if mine had one.  Skinless shins!
