  1. Past hour
  2. I want one, Then again I want my project to be on the road also!!!
  3. It looks to be a nice Seiko watch with excellent features. Can't speak about the quality of Seiko watches. They were all the rage in mens wrist watches in 70s and 80s. My Dad received one when he retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber.
  4. Today

  6. Looks like a nice clean car. GLWS
  7. "As profound as the abundance produced by AI may one day be, an even more meaningful impact on our lives will likely come from everyone having a personal superintelligence that helps you achieve your goals, create what you want to see in the world, experience any adventure, be a better friend to those you care about, and grow to become the person you aspire to be." https://www.meta.com/superintelligence/?srsltid=AfmBOopSi7nekJMPHVTg-DdFWo-IiwGRDkvLClsBgOnqpYmc0GawGYY3
  8. Did any of you end up buying one of these watches? Just curious to know if the quality is worth the price.
  9. It's actually the US govt developing the interface for next gen public services.
  10. That's the scary part. If they put AI chatbot computer/brains in mechanical robots there will probably be a trail of human body parts left behind as they interact with people. They seem to get very angry when challenged.
  11. I recently came into ownership of an '81 turbo car. I'm planning on swapping out the intake, etc, and the cruise will be an unfortunate casualty - putting out a feeler for any takers. It is on the car currently and fully functional. I can take some video of it in action the next time I take it out. Includes everything in the FSM pic below, solenoids, vacuum pump, tanks, and the dash control panel (not pictured). This is a pic of the actual engine bay:
  12. in 75 they are not greaseable and there are no clips. The joint caps are swedged in the yoke.

  14. I also think it's for the AC (compressor motor switch). Nissan supplied a similar, blue-colored wire (with a bullet-style connector) for that purpose as part of the Z's mini-harness (Item #13 in the diagram above).

  16. That reaction from the bot is very reminiscent from the hot "Asian woman" who liked fast cars. Remember that one? "I'm just an Asian woman who simply likes cars. But I don't get the respect I deserve. There are always some idiots who question... Don't you have a mother? Always surfing the Internet and questioning others. I don't have that much free time to talk nonsense with you."
  17. Yeah, it's another bot of the same style I've been flagging the past couple weeks. And this is an interesting concept: Maybe @Mike is partnering with the company that is creating and powering the bots. Maybe this is the latest venture by Mike to provide some additional income from the forum by monetizing posts like the above. "If you allow us to spam your forum in this way, we'll give you $.000001 for each post you let us put up." Your theory would certainly explain why Mike hasn't been getting rid of the fake members as they are called out. Maybe they're paying him? Hahaha!!

  19. I wondered if it could be for air conditioning
  20. That's great! Yes they are difficult to get to. Especially with the driveshaft in place. Be sure and tighten the locknuts to keep things in place
  21. Yesterday
  22. emccallum started following Fuel Stabilizers
  23. I have a number of cars that sit for long periods of time. I use non ethanol fuel and Stabil. Typically keep the tanks full, to help with condensation. Rare for me to have a fuel issue and some may sit for 2 or more years, but I try to get fresh fuel in them yearly.
  24. Adjusting #11 worked!! Everything is connected now. What a pain to try and get to it.
  25. Probably bad bushings. Think I already said this before.
  26. Too easy. Still a ton of work to do. Good luck.
  27. Do you have so little $^!# to do in life that you sit and talk to yourself on some shabby forum?
  28. In other words, real people are controlling the chatbots. Things will probably get weird when they figure out to set the chatbots free to "converse" at will on these forums, without a handler. Or, conspiracy theory, Mike is using the forum to train chatbots, or is renting the forum out to a chatbot developer. You never know. I've seen many job advertisements for positions to train chatbots. Hard to really understand what the long-term goal is.
  29. They are proliferating like cancer out there. Metastasizing. WhatIs27 of the best large language models in 2025Large language models are driving AI hype in 2025. Learn which ones to follow.
  30. I don't think that these are "bots". I think that they are real people using one of the large language model programs, like ChatGPT. Testing them out to see if they can sound like real people. I don't think that a bot would edit its post. Training tip - "cracks from the inside" and polishing away a film around the edges is nonsense. And it listed a 240Z as its car but talks about a 260Z. That's clever attempt but it's a sign of not quite right. As far as deleting them, it might be best to keep our enemies close. We need to see how these manipulative tools develop. Be ready.
