My wife is from Fredericksburg so we should make it. She suggested a road route out that way through the hill country. A number of vineyards out that way too...

A post I saw on FB said the dates are June 20-24.  We'll have to get our honorary host Mike W to confirm or deny.

Back in the 90s I went to a steak restaurant in Austin that had a rodeo arena inside! Damndest thing I've ever seen. It might have been Gilley's?

But that's the "Home of Them Texas Blues" as SRV said.

Some additional required Texas beverages - and you have to try each and every one of them!

 

Austin next year? Great place to do it.
